MRN is a promising technique in the visualization of nerve anatomy as well as identification of areas of traumatic nerve injuries. Delineation of the nerve route regarding mass lesions using MRN could as well be of high value in preoperative planning allowing better preservation of neuronal anatomy thus better neuro-muscular function. Different pulse sequences (STIR, SPAIR, Diffusion and DWIBS) can be used with MRN technique and the success depends on the selection of the best pulse sequence and parameters for each anatomic region
