The main objective of thesis is to provide a fully automatic system to assist radiologists in imaging interpretation and help surgeons in identifying the tumors. Thesis is focused on diagnosis several medical imaging modalities: CT liver imaging, chromosomes and breast histopathology slide imaging and breast thermal imaging. The proposed CAD systems are divided into: organ segmentation, abnormalities regions extraction, features extraction and finally candidates classification. These systems are depending on Neutrosophic Sets and Swarm Optimization approaches
