Orphanage school age children represent the most precious part of the nations life and the biggest promise for future of our society and nation as a whole; they are suffering from lack of access to basic human necessities. This study aimed to: evaluate the effect of designed based care nursing protocol on bio-psychosocial needs of orphanage school age children. Quasi-experimental design (pre / post test) was utilized. A purposive sample of 53 orphanage school age children (28 boys and 25 girls), was recruited for the current study. Tools data was collected through six tools which included; I- Assessment of orphanage structured questionnaire, II-Orphanage school age children structured interview guide, III- Assessment of orphanage school age children social needs tool, IV-Orphanage school age children psychological needs assessment tool, V- Orphanage school age children life satisfaction scale and VI-orphanage school age children observational checklist. The present study revealed that 34% of orphanage school age children their age ranged from 11 years to less than 15 years and the majority of them were males. A statistically significant difference was found between physical, psychological and social needs, and life satisfaction of orphanage school age children at pre and post based care nursing protocol P=.000
