Menieres disease is an inner ear disorder characterized by hearing loss, tinnitus and vertigo. The use of intratympanic injection of gentamicin and dexamethasone to reduce the severity of these symptoms has been widely used. The aim of the study is to compare the effectiveness of low dose intratympanic gentamicin injection (ITG) and intratympanic dexamethasone injection (ITD) to control vertigo associating intractable Menieres disease and to evaluate their effect on hearing level The study included twenty patients suffering from unilateral Menieres disease, they were divided into two equal groups. Group one:10 patients treated with low dose intratympanic gentamicin. Group two:10 patients treated with intratympanic dexamethasone. Control of vertigo and hearing parameters (pure tone audiogram and speech discrimination score) were evaluated 1 month and 3 months after treatment
