This study was carried out on (150) male patients attending the outpatient clinic of Andrology and STIs, KasrAl_Aini Hospital, Cairo University. They were divided into 3 groups each of 50 patients. Group 1 (Infertile males with functional azoospermia), Group 2 (Infertile males with severe oligozoospermia), Group 3 (Normal fertile males). Each patient in each group was evaluated with morning serum sample for testosterone (total), estradiol, testosterone to estradiol ratio and assessment of BMI, waist circumference and varicocele. Results of this study showed the following :There was a statistically significant difference in the level of serum total testosterone, estradiol, and testosterone to estradiol ratio between infertile groups (azoospermic and severe oligozoospermic groups) and normal fertile (Control) group. There was no statistically significant difference in the age, BMI and waist circumference between infertile groups (azoospermic and severe oligozoospermic groups) and normal fertile (Control) group.. There was no statistically significant correlations between BMI, waist circumference, varicocele, and serum total testosterone to estradiol ratio in the current study. The cutoff value between normal fertile group and infertile group with severe oligozoospermia was (10.06) and cutoff value between normal fertile control group and infertile group with azoospermia was (10.21)
