Egypt is an importer of energy, yet 200 MMSCFD of natural gas is flared and causes a negative environmental impact. Recovery of such amount is crucial and there are solutions to recover these gases: LPG/ condensate extraction, recycling, or power generation. These alternatives were studied technically, financially, and economically results indicate that investors vision play a vital role in decision making especially when production sharing agreement is applied. Results indicate that the added-value itself differs from one investor to another. The conflict of interest and oil prices are reasons behind postponing such projects
