This research has been carried out to optimize of plastic waste special polyethylene terephthalate PET used in bottling mineral and carbonated water, and oil for recycling in industry and export the product which contributes to increasing national income. On the other hand, to protect the environment as a result of damages by burning this waste with other waste generated which is often burnt in open dumpsites exposed and randomness throughout Egypt. This researchdetermine the percentage of un-used PET waste and optimize the benefit of it through determining the assembling areas whether they are organized or not. The result out of study is the unstructured areas that are concentrated in Greater Cairo especially Monshaat Nasser region, which is considered the biggest area forcollection of PET waste which produces (41.7 tons per day) followed by Ezbat Al Nakhl (30 tons per day) and 6th of October area (7.3 tons per day), 17.000 ton out of these areconventionally recycled as PET flakes per year by Bariq factory. Another part of the study was to practical experience in Bariq factory. The results were to assist the factory in using lower ratios of detergent and producing a high quality product in the case of waste which is separated at the start of the productive process and focus on white colors using colored plastics with lower proportions which had a direct effect on the budget. With a focus on sorting processes of PET and using white PET, the proportion of chemical detergent used in washing operations decreased by 25% from normal rates before sorting and the quality of productivity is increased to 99% , and the impurities is decreased to less than 1% of production capacity
