The study area is located at the central part of the Eastern Desert of Egypt, and is mainly cropped out by different varieties of Precambrian basement rocks represented by younger and older granites; epidiorites, metavolcanics and metasediments. In the present study, statistical analyses are used to divide the different lithological units into normal distribution units and interpreted radiolithologic subunits (IRLSU), according to their radiometric characters. 41 IRLSU were identified. According to the computations and the results of application of the statistical inference tests, the new four Abu Lijam Diorite-Metagabbro IRL subunits (gd-14n1, gd-14n2, gd-14n3 and gd-14n4) and the new Older Granite subunit (go-15n) was extracted. Magnetic data was interpreted with the integration of surface and subsurface geological information to explain the main structural trends and tectonic basement map by using a Geosoft and lineament analysis software package. By using the Euler depth and second vertical methods, the depth of the study area was estimated. Through the application of the principle component analysis on the spectrometric data (eU, eTh, K% and their ratios of the three elements eU/K, eU/eTh& eTh) with the 6 bands of the Landsat ETM image we find that, the PC3 is loaded by the higher value of eU/eTh, so it was called spectrometric component and ensure the results of the statistical analysis and were represented in the form of color composite image to delineate the geologic boundaries
