This thesis presents study of Risk Allocation between the Employer and the Contractor in Construction Contracts under the Egyptian construction industry. In this thesis, the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction Works designed by the Employer, 1999 and FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build, 1999 are discussed in terms of risk allocation between the Employer and the Contractor, and this risk allocation analysis is used as a benchmark for conducting the case studies in the Egyptian construction industry taking into consideration the relevant mandatory rules under the Egyptian Civil Law
