No definite conclusions can be drawn concerning whether the double-row technique is superior to modified mason allen technique for repairing rotator cuff tears regardless of size and type of tears. Outcomes of our prospective comparative study between tow techniques reveal that there is no significant difference in result of repair between tow techniques with relative advantage to MMA technique about requiring shorter surgical time and the use of a smaller number of anchors, consequently implying a lower surgical cost. Concerning the integrity of tendon healing of full thickness supraspinatus tear in short term follow up, according to our study there are no differences between double row and Single row modified mason allen technique with relatively higher risk of possibility of anchor pull out or migration in massive tears
