The study aims primarily at investigating the impact of Euro crisis on Egypt trade with EU and the extent of this impact on Egypt trade balance with EU during and after the crisis time. The thesis tackles the trade channel being one of the most powerful immediate links through which the downturn in advanced economies can be transmitted to partner countries especially if both parties have strong trade ties. The study concludes that the impact of the crisis was insignificant as the Egyptian trade reliance with EU is low if compared to similar north African countries (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) whose trade reliance with EU is much higher than the Egyptian trade, the low concentration/dependency of Egypts export to EU makes it less vulnerable to any change due to the debt crisis. Relevant policy implications are then drawn
