A field experiment was carried out during summer seasons 2017 at Khaled AbnEl-Waleed village, Sahl El-Hussinia, El- Sharkia Governorate. Egypt inorder to study the effect of organic amendments added at different rates on soil fertility and pepper productivity grown in saline soil condition. The site lies in the north west in coast of Sinai, between 32 00 / 00 / 00 to 32 15 / 00 / N latitude and 30 50 / 00 // to 31 15 00 // E longitude .The experiment was carried out in a split plot design with six replicates. The used two soil amendments (humic acid and compost) were randomly a ranged as main plot while the different rates of soil amendments were randomly distributed as sub plot. Seeds of sweet pepper (Capsicum annum L. cv. California Wonder.) were sown under plastic house in nursery at first week of February during 2017 season and received the recommended agricultural practices. The increase of diameters 1- 2 and 10- 2 mm aggregates of soil treated with 15 ton/fed compost combined with 15 kg/fed humic acid compared with other treatments. The decrease of mean value of hydraulic conductivity (cm/h) and bulk density (mg/m3) were soil treated with humic acid combined with compost high rate. The highest mean values of total porosity were soil treated with 15 kg /fed humic acid combined the 15 ton /fed compost compared with other treatments. The highest values of field capacity and available water were found in the treatments of humic acid combined with compost high rate compared with control (without humic and compoThe effect of humic acid combined with compost different rate application in soil was significant decrease soil salinity with increasing rate. The soil pH of all experimental pilot units is characterized by slightly to moderately alkaline conditions, where the pH value is always around 7.98-7.82
