his work devoted to improvement of the electrochemical corrosion resistance of Ti-6Al4Valloy in artificial saliva solution at 37 C was accomplished by applying new coatings on the alloy surface. The newly synthesized coatings are chitosan nanoparticles, Chitosan nanoparticles/silver nanoparticles composite, and chitosan/polyvinylpyrrolidoneand Fumedsilica/chitosan/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite coatings. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and potentiodynamic polarization techniques were used to investigate the corrosion behavior of the uncoated and coated alloy with different synthesized coatings in artificial saliva solution at 37 C with immersion time. The experimental data was confirmed by surface characterization using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX) techniques. Moreover, the antibacterial activity of chitosan nanoparticles and Chitosan nanoparticles / silver nanoparticles composite coatings were examined and compared with the bare alloy
