Patients with systemic sepsis showed larger LVEDD and LVESD and lower LVEF and RVEF compared to patients with systemic inflammatory response syndrome also survivors of septic shock showed larger LVEDD and LVESD compared to non survivors and lower LVEF compared to non survivorsThere were positive perfusion scan in both survivors and non survivors but it was larger and reversible in survivorsAPACHEII score was higher in non survivors compared to survivors
