New empirical formulae for in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross-section are presented and used to study the proton-nucleus and nucleus- nucleus interaction in the framework of Glauber model. The total, absorption and elastic cross-sections for different reactions at various bombarding energies are calculated. The obtained results are compared with the experimental data. The in-medium effective factors f ₁, f ₂ and f ₃ ₃successfully reproduce the proton-nucleus absorption cross-section at energies up to 600 MeV. In addition, the proton-nucleus total cross-sections using the in-medium effective factor, , give a reasonable fit with the experimental data. In this work, the density-dependent nucleon-nucleon cross-section are introduced to calculate the total, absorption and elastic cross-sections
