Introduction: Chronic kidney disease is characterized by irreversible deterioration of renal function that gradually progress to end stage renal disease (ESRD). Kidney transplantation has been established as the most efficient treatment of end stage renal disease with the advantage for the patient to live a nearly healthy life. Poor linear growth remains an unresolved obstacle in children with CKD. Objective: to assess anthropometric profile in transplanted CKD patients in comparison to anthropometric profile in CKD patients on conservative therapy or hemodialysis. Patients and methods: Ninety patients being followed up in the Centre of Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation (CPNT), Abu Elreesh hospital, Cairo University From June 2018 up to March 2019. The recruited patients included thirty patients with CKD on conservative treatment, thirty patients on regular hemodialysis, and thirty patients who had kidney transplantation were enrolled to detailed history and physical examination, laboratory investigation.Thyroid function tests were done for all included patients. Results:Significant difference between three groups in the initial height and height after 6 months (p value<0.001) with highest values among transplantation group (group III) and the lowest among those on hemodialysis (group II). Hypothyroidism was detected in 5 (6%) patients among conservative group, 2 (6.6%) patients among transplantation group, and 3(10%) patients among hemodialysis group
