This thesis is concerned with the analysis of some pharmaceutical compounds. It comprises three parts, part I is about general introduction of cephalosporin, while part II is about the litrature review of cefdinir and stability indicating methods for determination of cefdinir. Part III is concerned with the simultaneous analysis of a binary mixture of phenobarbital sodium and acefylline piperazine in the presence of dosage form additive (methylparaben). Various analytical techniques were used; spectrofluorimetry, spectrophotometry, chemometry, thin layer chromatography (TLC) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).The proposed methods were simple, accurate, and reproducible, which would be feasible, and sensitive for the determination of the studied drugs. The proposed methods were validated according to ICH-guidelines
