It proposes a model which examines the relationship between motivational factors (push factors and pull factors) and international patients' intention. Also, the present research examines the effect of push factors on the pull factors and vies versa to provide the insight into the medical tourism market in Egypt to achieve successful market positioning which in turn contributes to Egyptian economy. A descriptive, conclusive (cross sectional) research design was employed. A questionnaire was used for collecting data from 117 international patients who were involved in the medical tourism sector in Egypt. To test the scales validity, confirmatory factor analysis was used and to test the hypotheses of the research, a Structural Equation Modeling was employed. The results showed that the push factors have a direct impact on patients' intention. However, findings reveal that (Novelty and Knowledge seeking and Ego enhancement) have non-significant positive effect on patient intention. Also, Rest and relaxation has significant negative effect on patients' intention. Furthermore, findings reveal that the pull factors (healthcare provider specific (service quality, waiting time, medical cost) have significant positive effect on patients' intention toward Egypt as a medical destination While, destination specific factors (Environment and safety) has significant positive effect
