This thesis study investigates the effect of good practices on accredited calibration laboratories on the performance of laboratories and the relationship between accreditation of calibration laboratories and performance improvement.Should there be a perceived significant relationship between the independent variable accreditation of calibration laboratory and the dependent variable performance improvement? All countries established a framework of national quality infrastructure to release and breaking down technical barriers to trade which making greater integration of countries into the international trading system. Quality infrastructure, QI, refers to all aspects of metrology, standardization, testing, and accreditation.This includes both public and private institutions and the regulatory framework within which they operate. The research will study clauses of international standard ISO/IEC17025 2General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories3 which use to accredited calibration laboratories to verify the quality of results and will investigate the impact on performance improvement
