This research thesis presents the results of a study on the performance of concrete containing relatively small volume of nano silica (up to 1.5%) and carbon nano tubes (up to 0.03%) exposed to severe heating conditions in order to evaluate the effect of exposure to the elevated temperature on the properties of the hybried (nano silica- carbon nano tubes) concrete subjected to elevated temperature up to 600c.The results confirmed the ability of nano silica and carbon nano tubes to enhance the mentioned properties
