| Summary, etc. | The objective of the research is to study the effect of pavement mix components on surface friction and rutting resistance.The study investigates surface friction of flexible and rigid pavement.Rutting was only considered for the flexible pavement.The experimental program included three types of coarse aggregate , two mix gradations , two binder contents , four aggrwgate conditions.Surface friction was measured for dry and wet surface conditions and at two temperatures 25C and 50C.Rutting was measured at 60C.Surface friction was mwasured by the british pendulum device.Rutting depth was measured by the wheel trcker machine |
