| Summary, etc. | The aim of this work is to provide means for calculating the dose received by various tissues of the patient, calculate lung shield and verify received dose using a phantom as a tool for quality assurance for a planned Total Body Irradiation (TBI) procedure in radiotherapy. Using Microsoft Visual Basic, MATLAB and Python, a program for Total Body Irradiation Calculation in Radiotherapy (TBICR) is constructed. It uses patient translation and beam zone method for total body irradiation calculations to compute the proper dose received by the patient and determine the lung shield thickness. There are three main user-friendly interfaces in the application. The first one allows the user to upload the TBI topography and estimate the distances needed for TBI calculations. The second one enables the user to count the number of beam zones needed for each point and estimate the effective area (Aeff) for each level. The third interface estimates the velocity required to deliver the relative dose depending on patient separation, Monitor Units (MU), couch speed and travel distance. It allows the user to compute the required lung shield thickness, read any patient's CT DICOM file and acquire dose in any distinct location using machine learning model to predict the dose. |

| Summary, etc. | الهدف من هذا العمل هو تصميم برنامج للقيام بحسا ب الكمية اللازمة من الجرعة التي تتلقاها أنسجة المريض المختلفة، وحساب درع الرئة، والتحقق من الجرعة التي تتلقاها باستخدام phantom ، كأداة لضمان الجودة لإجراء مشع الجسم الكلي المخطط له في العلاج الإشعاعي .<br/>وباستخدام (Microsoft Visual Basic, MATLAB, and Python) كأدوا ت لتصميم وتنفيذ برنامج حاسوبي معتمد علي التقارير الدولية المعتمد ة للإجراء حسابا ت تشعيع الجسم الكلي وتستخدم patient translation and beam zone method في حسابات تشعيع الجسم الكلي لحساب الجرعة المناسبة التي يتلقاها المريض وتحديد سماكة الدرع الرئوي في العلاج الاشعاع ي<br/>.ول ذا يهدف هذا البحث لتسهيل وضبط حسابات الجرعة الإشعاعية المناسبة والتي تجري عادة بأسلو ب يدوي يجعلها عرضه للخطأ وعدم الدقة وذلك من خلال تصميم وتنفيذ برنامج حاسوبي معتمد علي التقارير الدولية المعتمدة للإجراء حسابات الجرعة الإشعاعي ة المناسبة. ويساعد هذا البرنامج على تقليل الوقت المستنفذ والاخطاء المتوقعة في حساب الدروع كما انه يوفر الوسيلة لإجراء دراسا ت مقارنه تحليليه لتأثير العوامل المختلفة في الحصول على الجرعة المترسبة في تشعيع الجسم الكلي في العلاج الاشعاعي . ويتكون البرنامج من ثلا ث واجها ت سهلة الاستخدام، الواجهة الاولي تسمح للمستخدم تحميل صوره TBI topography وتقدير المسافات اللازمة<br/>لحسابا ت TBI . الواجهة الثانية تم كين المستخدم من عد عدد مناطق الشعاع اللازمة لكل نقطة وتقدير المنطقة الفعالة لكل مستوى، والواجهة الثالثة لحساب السرعة اللازمة لتوصيل الجرعة النسبية اعتمادا على سمك المريض وسرعة الأريكة، والمسافة التي تقطعها، وتسمح للمستخدم بحساب كمية سمك درع الرئة المطلوبة، وقراءة ملف CT DICOM لأي مريض والحصول على الجرعة في أي موقع على المريض. وتعتبر القدرة على تحديد السرعة والوقت اللازمين لحركة الأريكة في حالة أساليب قياس سرعة الأريكة وظيفة جديدة وحاسمة . وتتميز بسهولة |
