| Summary, etc. | يرجع الأصل في كلمة ختم إلى الأصل السامي ولا ا زلت تستخدم حتى اليوم، وتعنى الشيء المختوم أو المغلق، حيث أنها استخدمت في غلق محتويات الأكياس والصناديق والنواويس والج ا رر والأو ا رق الرسمية الهامة، وهي وسيلة لحفظ الأشياء أو دليالً على سلًمتها من العبث. استخدم الختم في وادي النيل شماله وجنوبه على نطاق واسع منذ بداية عصور ما قبل التاريخ وذلك لتأمين ما هو نفيس )الحاويات، الصناديق، الأواني، الرسائل، الأكياس، أبواب المقابر وغرف المخازن(. ومن خلًل الد ا رسة لا يمكن تك ا رر الطابع إلا بنفس الختم الأصلي ووجود طبعة الختم هو دليل على أن الأختام كانت مستخدمة كوظيفة وليست للزينة وقد تناولت الرسالة الأختام ودلالتها التاريخية في بلًد السودان فترة كرمة الكلًسيكية ] 1650 – 1550 ق. م[ وقد كشفت د ا رسة الأختام أهميتها الكبيرة فأنها وفر ت لنا تاريخ زمني كبير خلًل تلك الفترة الغامضة بالإضافة إلى التواصل الثقافي مع الأرض المجاور ة وساعدت تلك الد ا رسة في معرفة الأنظمة الإدارية المتبعة في إقليم السودان خلًل فترة كرمة الكلًسيكية بالإضافة إلى أنه أمكن التعرف على أسماء الحصون والقلًع والمؤسسات الملكية والأنظمة الإدارية في السودان من خلًل الأختام وطبعات الأختام لهذه الفترة. وتناولت الد ا رسة تسليط الضوء على علًقة الملك سنوسرت الثالث بالنوبة العليا من خلًل الأختام الكثيرة التي وجدت في عصره في حضارة كرمة في ضوء الاكتشافات الأثرية الحديثة بالسودان، وهناك الكثير من الد ا رسات التي تحدثت عن تاريخ السودان القديم وكذلك فترة كرمة والحضا ا رت الأخرى المعاصر ة أون د ا رسة الأختام بشكل عام بالإضافة إلى تقارير الحفائر كانت المصدر الأساسي للد ا رسة وذلك من خلً ل التقارير الأجنبية أو العربية . |

| Summary, etc. | The origin of the word seal goes back to the Semitic language and is still used today, meaning the sealed or closed thing, as it was used to seal the bags, boxes, sarcophagi, jars, and important official papers, and it is a means of preserving things or evidence of their safety from tampering .<br/>The seal was used in the Nile Valley, north and south, on a large scale since the beginning of prehistoric times, to secure what is valuable (containers, boxes, pots, letters, bags, tomb doors, and storerooms).<br/>This study helped to know the administrative systems used in the territory of Sudan during the classical Kerma period, in addition to the fact that it was possible to identify the names of forts, castles, royal institutions, and administrative systems in Sudan through seals and impressions of seals for this period.<br/>The study focused on shedding light on King Senusret III’s relationship with Upper Nubia through the many seals that were found in his time in the Kerma. Many studies talked about the history of ancient Sudan as well as the Kerma period, and that the study of seals in general in addition to the excavation’s reports, they were the main source for the study, through foreign or Arabic reports .<br/>The study was divided into an introduction, a preface, three chapters,<br/> |
