| Summary, etc. | في ظل التوجه العالمي نحو الانتقال من الاعتماد على الوقود الأحفوري الملوث للبيئة، الى الاعتماد على مصادر الطاقة النظيفة، تعد الطاقة النووية أحد تلك المصادر النظيفة للطاقة، ومن المحاور الرئيسية لاقتصاديات الطاقة بعد أنأصبحت لاعب رئيسيفي سباق توليد الطاقة العالمي. تواجه جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا مشكلة؛ نقص الطاقة، منذ عام 2008، إذ تعتمد جنوبأفريقيا على الوقود الأحفوري بنسبة تزيد عن 80 % من مزيج الطاقة لديها الأمر الذي جعلها من أعلى الدول الافريقية اصداراً لغازت الاحتباس الحراري والرابع عشر عالمياً، وفي ظلما تتمتع بهجنوب إفريقيامن خبرة كبيرة وقديمة في مجال استخدام الطاقة النووية كمصدر للكهرباء،جاء إعلان دولة جنوب إفريقيا عن توجهها إلى الاعتماد على الطاقة النووية بشكل أكبر مستقبلاً، بجانب مصادر الطاقة النظيفة الأخرى كحل لأزمة الطاقة وسد عجز الطاقة بها، بجانب الاستغناء التدريجي عن مصادر الطاقة الملوثة للبيئة. لذا تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد وتحليل أهم العوامل المؤثرة في الاستخدام السلمي للطاقة النووية في جنوب إفريقيا، والآثار المترتبة على تلك الاستخدامات، ومدى جدوى استخدام الطاقة النووية والتوسع فيها بجنوب افريقيا، وما إذا كانت لها أثر ايجابي على النمو الاقتصاد بجنوب إفريقيا. ولقد اعتمدت الدراسة على أسلوب التحليل القياسي والرياضي،فقد استخدمت الدراسة نموذج ”متجه تصحيح الخطأ” لقياس أثر استهلاك الطاقة النووية على النمو الاقتصادي في دولة جنوب إفريقيا، كما استخدمت الدراسة مصفوفة التحليل الرباعي (SWOT) لتحليل نقاط القوة والضعف والفرص والتحديات لاستخدام الطاقة النووية في جنوب إفريقيا، لتحديد سبل مواجهة تلك التحديات. وقد تم تقسيم الدراسةإلى أربعة فصول، تناول الفصل الأول إطار نظري عن الطاقة النووية، وتناول الفصل الثاني تحليل أزمة الطاقة في جنوب إفريقيا،وتناول الفصل الثالث قياس دور الطاقة النووية بجنوب إفريقيا،وتناولالفصل الرابع والأخيرالتحليل الرباعيAnalysis (SWOT)لاستخدام الطاقة النووية بجنوب إفريقيا، والمبحث الختامي الذى أجمل أهمنتائج وتوصيات الدارسة. وتوصلت الدراسة وجود علاقة إيجابية بين الطاقة النووية ومعدل النمو الاقتصادي بجنوب إفريقيا، وأهمية وضع جنوب إفريقيا في استراتيجيتها لمزيج الطاقة، نصيب اعتمادي من الطاقة النووية كحمل أساسي من خلال استئناف تنفيذ خطة التوسع في انشاء عدد من محطات الطاقة النووية، وذلك ضمن استراتيجيتها الجديدة للطاقة، لعلاج أزمة الطاقة بها. |

| Summary, etc. | In light of the global trend towards moving from dependence on fossil fuels that pollute the environment, to relying on clean energy sources, nuclear energy is one of those clean sources of energy, and one of the main axes of energy economics after it became a major player in the global energy generation race.<br/>The Republic of South Africa faces an Energy shortage, since 2008, as South Africa depends on fossil fuels for more than 80% of its energy mix, which made it one of the highest African countries emitting greenhouse gases and the fourteenth in the world, and in light of South Africa’s great and old experience in The field of using nuclear energy as a source of electricity. South Africa announced its intention to rely more on nuclear energy in the future, along with other clean energy sources as a solution to the energy crisis and filling its energy deficit, in addition to the gradual dispensation of energy sources that pollute the environment.<br/>Therefore, the study aims to identify and analyze the most important factors affecting the peaceful use of nuclear energy in South Africa, the effects of those uses, the feasibility of using and expanding nuclear energy in South Africa, and whether it has a positive impact on economic growth in South Africa.<br/>The study relied on the standard and mathematical analysis method. The study used the ”error correction vector” model to measure the impact of nuclear energy consumption on economic growth in South Africa. The study also used the SWOT matrix to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of using nuclear energy in South Africa, to identify ways to address these challenges.<br/>The study has been divided into four chapters, the first chapter deals with a theoretical framework on nuclear energy, the second chapter analyzes the energy crisis in South Africa, the third chapter deals with measuring the role of nuclear energy in South Africa, and the fourth and final chapter deals with a SWOT analysis of the use of nuclear energy in southern Africa. Africa, and the final topic that summarized the most important results and recommendations of the study.<br/>The study concluded that there is a positive relationship between nuclear energy and the economic growth rate in South Africa, and the importance of South Africa’s placement in its energy mix strategy, a dependent share of nuclear energy as a primary load through the resumption of the implementation of the expansion plan for the establishment of a number of nuclear power plants, as part of its new energy strategy.
