| Summary, etc. | Since its independence, Kuwait has sought to establish balanced external relations with its neighboring countries. The objectives of Kuwaiti foreign policy were to protect Kuwaiti national security and the highest Kuwaiti interests, and to achieve comprehensive development in its various dimensions. The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry made a fruitful effort in providing international support for the ceasefire in Yemen, and sponsoring the negotiations. On the one hand, workshops were launched in Kuwait and Muscat, with the participation of military technicians from the European Union and under the auspices of the United Nations, related to the development of a plan to stabilize the ceasefire And watch it. Hence, the firm Kuwaiti position on the Yemeni crisis stresses the necessity of adhering to the political solution in light of international and regional decisions and initiatives. |
