| Summary, etc. | Diabetes mellitus (DM) is considered as one of the most dangerous metabolic disorders in the world. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a complex disease, which affect many organs besides pancreas such as the liver, brain, eye, heart, and kidney causing diabetic complications. Oxidative stress plays a key role in in the pathogenesis of insulin resistance and B-cell dysfunction. The current study aimed to use oxidative stress markers as early<br/>predictors for progression of diabetes complications in type 2 diabetic patients. The study sample consists of 400 individual (300 T2DM and 100 non diabetic control) 50% male to 50% female aged from 35 to 59 years. T2DM patients were divided into subgroups:<br/>subgroups (1) patients without any complications |
