| Summary, etc. | موضوع هذه الدراسة هو «المسرحيات المفقودة ليوريبيديس في ضوء الشذرات البردية». وتهدف الدراسة إلى تحليل الشذرات البردية المنشورة التي تنتمي للمسرحيات التراجيدية المنسوبة للشاعر يوريبيديس ومعرفة الموضوعات الرئيسية التي تناولها الشاعر في هذه الأعمال وكيف عبر عن أفكاره الفلسفية والدينية، وذلك بالاعتماد على المنهج التحليلي والمنهج الدلالي. تهدف الباحثة في هذه الدراسة إلى إثبات النظرية القائلة إن أعمال يوريبيديس تدور حول ثلاثة موضوعات أساسية، وهي: الحرب، النساء والدين. فكان الشاعر يوريبيديس في مسرحياته المستلهمة من الأساطير والملاحم اليونانية يناقش الحروب مضيفًا إلي الأحداث بعض التجديدات ليبرز أفكاره الدينية والفلسفية. وعبر عن شفقته تجاه الجنس البشري وما يعانيه من آلام لكونه ضحية لما قدرته الآلهة. أما في مسرحياته ذات البطولة النسائية فلم يقتصر دور المرأة عنده على دور مسببات المتاعب، إلا إنه قام بتصويرها من منظور مختلف، إذ جعلها تتحلى بصفات كانت مقتصرة آنذاك على الرجال فقط ومنها الالتزام بالقسم الذي تقطعه على نفسها، كما صور الظلم الواقع على بعض النساء نتيجة تعدد الزوجات. كما عرض سمات الشخصية التراجيدية من الرجال، فيطرح السمات التي يجب أن يتحلى بها الرجال مثل البسالة والشجاعة والنبل الأخلاقي. ويبدي استنكاره للحقد الذي يكنُّه بعض الرجال لغيرهم من الشرفاء. كما يصور غضب البشر تجاه الآلهة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، قام بعرض طرائق الحياة المختلفة: أ) الحياة العملية والسياسة، ب) الحياة التأملية. |

| Summary, etc. | This study aims to analyze 12 Lost Plays of Euripides in the Light of the Papyrus’ Fragments and to know the main topics that the poet dealt with in these plays and how he expressed his philosophical and religious ideas, using an analytical and semantic approaches. Euripides in his plays was inspired by Greek myths and epics, adding to the events some innovations to highlight his religious and philosophical ideas. In addition, he expressed his pity towards the human race and the pains it suffers for being a victim of what the gods destined. In his plays with a female lead, the role of women was not limited to the role of troublemakers, however, he portrayed them from different perspectives. He made the female characters have qualities that were limited to men only at that time, including the commitment to the oath women take on themselves, as he portrayed the injustice that befalls some women as a result of polygamy. He also presented the traits of the tragic characters of men and put forward the traits that men should have, such as valor, courage, and moral nobility. He expresses his denunciation of the hatred that some men have for other honorable men. It also depicts the anger of mankind towards the gods. In addition, he presented different ways of life: a) the practical and political life, and b) the contemplative life |
