| Summary, etc. | تمثل الهدف الرئيس للبحث في اختبار أثر عدم اليقين في السياسة الاقتصاديَّة على مستوى الاحتفاظ بالنقديَّة، ثمَّ دراسة تأثير الإفصاح عن المسئوليَّة الاجتماعيَّة للشركات المصريَّة على تلك العلاقة، وذلك اعتمادًا على عينة تتكون من 58 شركة مسجلة بالبورصة المصريَّة من خلال (464 مشاهدة) خلال الفترة من عام 2014 وحتى عام 2021. قام الباحث بتحليل البيانات، باستخدام معامل ارتباط بيرسون والانحدار الخطي المتعدد، طبقًا لطريقة المربعات العامة الثابتة Fixed Generalized Least squares (FGLS)، واعتمادًا على مؤشر عدم اليقين العالمي (WUI) كمقياس لعدم اليقين في السياسة الاقتصاديَّة، وقد أظهرت نتائج التحليل الإحصائي أن عدم اليقين في السياسة الاقتصاديَّة (EPU) يُعد محددًا هامًّا في تحديد مستوى الاحتفاظ بالنقديَّة في الشركات المصريَّة؛ حيث يزداد مستوى الاحتفاظ بالنقديَّة في الشركات المصريَّة مع ارتفاع مستوى حالة عدم اليقين في السياسة الاقتصاديَّة، كما أظهرت النتائج أيضًا أن للإفصاح عن المسئوليَّة الاجتماعيَّة للشركات دورًا محفزًا في تلك العلاقة، فقد أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الاحتفاظ بالنقديَّة يرتفع مع زيادة مستوى عدم اليقين في السياسة الاقتصاديَّة بشكل أكبر في ظلّ الإفصاح عن المسئوليَّة الاجتماعيَّة للشركات. |

| Summary, etc. | The main aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between Economic Policy Uncertainty and the level of cash holding considering the corporate social responsibility disclosure. The results are based on a sample of 58 Egyptian listed companies (464 firm-year observations) during the period from 2014 to 2021. Data analysis was done using Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple linear regressions (Fixed Generalized Least squares) (FGLS). Based on the World Uncertainty Index (WUI) as a measure of Economic Policy Uncertainty, Regression results indicate that Economic Policy Uncertainty (EPU) has a significant positive effect on the level of cash holding in Egyptian companies. The findings also reveal that corporate social responsibility disclosure increases the relationship between Economic Policy Uncertainty and the level of cash holding. |
