| Summary, etc. | تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى فحص التأثيرات الديناميكية للأداء الاقتصادي على التصنيفات الائتمانية في مصر خلال الفترة (1996-2018) وتتكون من ملاحظات ربع سنوية لكل متغير ، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة منهج اختبار حدود ARDL لتأسيس هذه العلاقات التي أظهرت وجود علاقة إيجابية و علاقة قصيرة المدى وطويلة المدى بين التصنيف الائتماني ونمو الناتج المحلي (الناتج المحلي الإجمالي) والاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر (FDI) ، بينما توجد علاقات سلبية كبيرة على المدى القصير والطويل بين عجز الميزانية والدين الخارجي وسعر الصرف والتصنيف الائتماني. تشير هذه النتيجة إلى أن الناتج المحلي الإجمالي والاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر والاحتياطي الأجنبي وعجز الميزانية من المتغيرات الاقتصادية الكلية الأساسية التي تؤثر على الأداء الاقتصادي والتصنيف الائتماني في مصر ، كما أن وجود علاقة طويلة المدى بين المتغيرات يشير إلى التبعيات طويلة المدى ، والتي توفر معلومات أساسية للمستثمرين حول الاقتصاد المصري. |

| Summary, etc. | The current study measures the economic performance and credit ratings<br/>of Egypt during the period 1996-2018. This period was chosen because it is the<br/>beginning of a new policy, which is the policy of economic reform since 1991,<br/>by examining the variables that will affect the economic performance in Egypt<br/>and how to benefit from the experiences of countries that have been able to<br/>overcome the crises of credit ratings and the possibility of applying them to the<br/>Egyptian economy. And what are the economic controls and policies that must<br/>be available in Egypt to overcome the crisis of low ratings, by studying some of<br/>the variables affecting the degree of classification.<br/>This study aims to examines the dynamic effects of economic<br/>performance on credit ratings in Egypt during the period (1996-2018) consisting<br/>of quarterly observations for each variable. The study adopted the ARDL<br/>bounds testing approach to establish these relationships which showed that there<br/>exists a positive short run and long-run relationship between the credit<br/>rating,(GDP) growth domestic product and (FDI) foreign direct investment ,<br/>while there are significant negative relationships in both short and long run<br/>between budget deficit, external debt, exchange rate and the credit rating. This<br/>result implies that GDP, FDI, foreign reserve and budget deficit are essential<br/>macroeconomic variables that influence the economic performance and the<br/>credit rating in Egypt. Also, the existence of long run relationship among the<br/>variables indicates the long-range dependencies, which provides essential<br/>information for the investors about the Egyptian economy. |
