| Summary, etc. | Aim: This study was conducted to evaluate the marginal integrity and internal fit of hybrid ceramics in butt joint versus ferrule preparation design of premolars with endocrown restorations.<br/>Methodology: Twenty sound maxillary premolars were endodontically treated. Group (B) received endocrown with butt joint finish line design. Group (F) received endocrown with ferrule design finish line. All restorations were fabricated from hybrid resin nano-ceramic material (Cerasmart, GC Dental, USA) using 4-axis milling machine (CEREC MC XL, Sirona, Germany). Marginal gap was assessed using direct viewing under digital microscope, while internal gap was assessed using the replica technique.<br/>Results: Marginal gap of ferrule group was (18.66 ± 5.99) µm, higher than butt joint group (17.44± 4.20) µm, with insignificant difference in all surfaces except mesial surface which was significantly higher in ferrule group (19.57 ± 4.65) µm, than butt joint group (15.54± 4.41) µm. Comparison between both groups regarding internal fit was performed which revealed that ferrule group (109.99) µm was higher in internal gap than butt joint group (89.61) µm with insignificant difference between them in all areas except the mesial surface which was (130.57) µm in ferrule group and (98.03) µm in butt joint group. Pulpal area had significantly the highest internal gap.<br/> |

| Summary, etc. | تعتبر الاسنان المعاجه لبيا الاكثر عرضه للكسر, حيث ان تغيير الميكانيكا الحيويه يعتبر العامل المؤثر في تكهن مدي نجاح المعاجه علي المدي الطويل. نالت التيجان الجذرية شهرة واسعة كبديل للعلاج التقليدي للاسنان المعالجه لبيا نظرا لمزايا تحسين المظهر والاداء الميكانيكي.<br/>يعتبر التطابق الحافي والداخلي من اهم الخواص التي تؤثر علي عمر التيجان المعالجه.حيث ان زيادة التناقض الحافي والداخلي سيؤدي الي ذوبان الاسمنت اللاصق وتقليص عمر التيجان المعالجه.<br/>تعرف التيجان الجذرية بتصميمان هامشيان: الطرف الغليظ و التطويق. يعتبر الطرف الغليظ هو التصميم المتعارف عليه.<br/>في حين ان التطويق يتميز بزيادة جدار محوري و يساعد في زيادة مقاومة الكسر للتيجان ولكين يزيد من تعقيد السطح الداخلي مما يقلل التطابق الحافي والداخلي.<br/>يعتبر الخزف الهجين من المواد الواعدة حيث يتميز بتطابق حافي و داخلي افضل من الخزف الفلدسباثي.<br/>هدفت هذه الدراسه الي تقييم تأثير تصميم التحضير للتيجان الجذرية باستخدام الخزف الهجين علي التطابق الحافي والداخلي في الضواحك.<br/>تم بناء 20 عينة وتقسيمهم الي مجموعتين بناء علي التصميم الهامشي10 عينات لكل مجموعة. المجموعه ب تم تحضيرها بتصميم الطرف الغليظ و المجموعه ف تم تصميمها بالتطويق.<br/>تم اجراء جميع تحضيىرات الاسنان بواسطه طبيب واحد وهو الباحث من اجل توحيد شكل وكميه تحضير الاسنان .تم اختيار الاسنان الطبيعيه لهذه الدراسة و تم تحضير تصميم الطرف الغليظ بجهاز الخرط ب ف 2 مثبت عليه قبضة عالية السرعة بحجر ماسي مدبب بزاوية عشر درجات.كل زوايا الخط الداخلية تم تنعيمها واستخدام مسبار لثوي للتاكد من عمق الامتداد اللبي 3 مم.تم تحضير تصميم التطويق مثل الطرف الغليظ مع اضافة جدار محوري بعرض 1 مم وارتفاع 2 مم.<br/>تم قياس التطابق الحافي بالتصوير بالمجهر الرقمي مزود بكاميرا داخلية وكمبيوتر شخصي بعامل تكبير ثابت (40 مرة).<br/><br/> |
