| Summary, etc. | بعيدًا عن الدولة البيزنطية ولاسيما في بلاد اليمن السعيد، قام يوسف ذي نواس ملك اليمن باضطهاد نصارى نجران، وشرع في إرسال تحدياته إلى العالم النصراني البيزنطي لذلك العهد، مما أقلق الإمبراطور البيزنطي جستين الأول Justin I حيث وردت أخبار من جنوب بلاد العرب عن استشهاد مسيحي نجران، وقام شمعون الأرشمي بالترويج لمقتل نصارى نجران، مما أدى إلى قيام تحالف بيزنطي حبشي مشترك لغزو اليمن.<br/>لذلك تناولت هذه الدراسة السياسة التي اتبعتها الإمبراطورية البيزنطية تجاه اليمن والحبشة لتحقيق أهدافها الدينية والاقتصادية، فقد اتبع الإمبراطور جستنيان دبلوماسية حكيمة بعد أن نجح في توحيد قوى حمير وأكسوم لخلق تهديد جانبي لقوات الفرس المتحكمة في طرق التجارة والسيطرة على مملكة الحيرة في بلاد الرافدين، لهذا تم إرسال العديد من السفارات إلى السميفع أشوع ملك حمير لتسوية الخلافات بينه وبين قيس أمير مملكة كندة، وتم إرسال نونوس ويوليان إلى الحبشة لتحقيق أهداف بيزنطة السياسية والاقتصادية.<br/>كما تتناولت الدراسة حرص ساسة القسطنطينية أن يرسلوا أساقفة ورهبان لتشييد الكنائس ونشر المسيحية في أكسوم وحمير، وذلك عبر حليفها الحبشي، وسوف تركز الدراسة على السياسة الدينية التي اتبعها جستنيان في البلاد الأفروآسيوية لتحقيق أهداف البلاط البيزنطي وربط حمير والحبشة ببيزنطة.<br/>وكذلك تناولت الدراسة علاقة أبرهة ببيزنطة منذ قيامه بالثورة على السميفع ومقتله وحتى نهاية الوجود البيزنطي في اليمن وحمير<br/> |
