| Summary, etc. | تميز مجال المغرب الأقصى، دون غيره من المجالات، بتنوع تضاريسه ما بين جبال شاهقة الارتفاع، وصحراء شاسعة، وسهول زراعية خصبة، وشبكة نهرية كبيرة، وبحر متوسط في الشمال، ومحيط أطلسي في الغرب، وقد شكل هذا المجال خزانا بشريا حيث تقاسمت سكناه أكبر ثلاث مجموعات بشرية؛ هي: قبائل صنهاجة الجنوب، والقبائل المصمودية، والقبائل الزناتية. وكان هذا التنوع في التضاريس سببا في تنوع مناخ المغرب الأقصى وتعرضه لتقلبات مناخية شديدة كان لها أثرها في الساكنة وفي تغيير مجريات الأحداث وفي قيام دولة وسقوط أخرى. ومن هنا، جاءت هذه الدراسة لبيان أثر العوامل الجغرافية في قيام الدول وتطورها وسقوطها بالمغرب الأقصى من عصر دولة المرابطين حتى سقوط الدولة المرينية (448-869ھ /1056-1465 |

| Summary, etc. | Al-Maghreb al-Aqsa, unlike any other area, is distinguished by the diversity of its topography of high mountains, vast desert, fertile agricultural plains, extensive river basins, the Mediterranean Sea in the north, and the Atlantic Ocean in the west. This area has formed a human reservoir, wherein the three most influential human groups lived: the Sanhaja tribes of the south, the Masmouda tribes, and the Zanata tribes. Such diversity in the topography was the cause of the diverse climate of Al-Maghreb al-Aqsa and its exposure to severe climatic fluctuations that had an impact on the population, changing the course of events, the rise of one state and the fall of another.
