| Summary, etc. | There are a significant number of female athletes competing at the highest<br/>levels of sport. But athletic women are still largely underrepresented in scientific<br/>literature. The female menstrual cycle is characterized by variations in the concentration<br/>of circulating hormone levels, which may have an impact on performance. Purpose: This<br/>study aimed to investigate the effect of hormonal changes through different phases of<br/>menstrual cycle on hand grip power, pulp pinch power, three fingers pinch power and<br/>lateral pinch power of athletic and nonathletic girls. Materials and methods: A case<br/>control study was conducted on forty post-pubertal girls their ages ranged from 16 to 22<br/>years old, their body mass index (BMI) ranged from 18.5 to 25 kg/m2.They were divided<br/>into two groups: athletic group of twenty basketball and tennis players recruited from<br/>basketball and tennis teams from Mena Garden City Club, 6 October Club and Shooting<br/>Club October and nonathletic group of twenty sedentary life undergraduate students from<br/>Faculty of Physical Therapy, Misr University for science and technology. Hand grip<br/>power was evaluated by Jamar hand dynamometer, while pulp pinch power, three fingers<br/>pinch power and lateral pinch power were evaluated by Jamar pinch gauge through three<br/>different phases of menstrual cycle (follicular, ovulatory and luteal phase). Results:<br/>Statistical analysis revealed that there was a significant increase in grips power in<br/>nonathletic group in ovulatory phase compared with follicular and luteal phases<br/>(P=<0.05), while there was no significance change in grips power for athletic group<br/>(P=>0.05). Conclusion: Menstrual cycle phases do not alter hand grips power<br/>performance for athletic girls. But it alters hand grips power performance for nonathletic<br/>girls. |

| Summary, etc. | قد تؤدي التغيرات الهرمونية خلال المراحل المختلفة للدورة الشهرية الى تغيرات فى قوة قبضة اليد لدى الفتيات الرياضيات وغير الرياضيات بعد مرحلة البلوغ.<br/> هدف البحث: و قد هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تحديد تأثير اختلاف نسبة الهرمونات خلال الدورة الشهرية للفتيات الرياضيات وغير الرياضيات بعد البلوغ على قوة قبضة اليد مما قد يساعد في زيادة المعرفة العلمية الحديثة لأخصائيين العلاج الطبيعي فيما يخص تأثير اختلاف نسب الهرمونات خلال المراحل المختلفة للدورة الشهرية للفتيات الرياضيات وغير الرياضيات بعد البلوغ بهدف التقييم السليم للحالات ،وتفادى الاصابات للرياضيات مع وضع برنامج علاجى أو تقوية مناسب .<br/>مجال البحث: و قد تضمنت هذه الدراسة أربعون فتاة بعد سن البلوغ لديهن دورات حيضية منتظمة تتراوح بين 25-35 يوم وتتراوح أعمارهن بين 16-22 سنة و كان مؤشر كتلة الجسم يتراوح بين 18.5-25 كجم/م2 كما استبعدت من الدراسة الفتيات التى تعانى من عسر الطمث ، أمراض التهاب الحوض ، أية أمراض نسائية أو إصابة أو جراحة في الطرف العلوي أو أمراض القلب والأوعية الدموية أو الرئوية أو العصبية أوالإناث اللائي يتلقين موانع الحمل أو أي علاج .تم تقسيم العينة الي مجموعتين:<br/>•مجموعة فتيات رياضيات :20 فتاة من لاعبات كرة السلة وكرة التنس .<br/>•مجموعة فتيات غير رياضيات :20 فتاة من طالبات الجامعة اللاتى لا يمارسن اى رياضة.<br/> وقد تم إستخدام دينامومتر هيدرولكيى لقياس قوة قبضة اليد وأستخدمت شرائط للكشف عن وجود هرمون منشط الجسم الأصفر فى البول لتحديد فترة التبويض للفتيات <br/>مجال زمنى: وقد أستغرق الجزء العملى لهذة الرسالة الفترة من نوفمبر 2021 إلى أبريل 2022.واستغرق الجزء النظرى الفترة من نوفمبر 2021 إلى أبريل 2023.<br/>الفصل الاول: يحتوى هذا الفصل على توضيح الغرض من اجراء هذا البحث والفائدة التى ستعود على المجال العلمى والعملى الخاص بالعلاج الطبيعى وعلى هذا تم تعين المشكلة ثم تعريف محددات هذه التجربة.<br/>الفصل الثانى: يحتوى هذا الفصل على التعريف بالمراحل المختلفة للدورة الشهرية، والهرمونات الانثوية المختلفة المسئولة عن تنظيمها ، وتأثير هذة الهرمونات على القوة العضلية بالجسم. والتعريف بأنواع القباضات المختلقة لليد والعضلات المشاركة لكل قبضة، وأهمية قوة قبضة اليد فى حياة المرأة، وكيفية قياسها بإستخدام جهاز قياس قوة قبضة اليد الهيدروليكى .وأيضا عرض لبعض الأبحاث التى أجريت من قبل والنتائج المختلفة لها فى ميادين البحث العلمى لهذا المجال.<br/>الفصل الثالث: تناول هذا الفصل المواصفات الشخصية للعينة المشاركة فى البحث بشرح الوسائل والأجهزة والخطوات التى أجريت بها هذه التجربة.<br/>الفصل الرابع: اشتمل هذا الفصل على النتائج والإحصائيات المستخلصة من البحث ،وقد رؤيا فى صياغتها أن تكون فى شكل جداول لسهولة الإستيعاب والمقارنة والتحليل.<br/> الفصل الخامس: ناقش هذا الفصل النتائج التى تم التوصل إليها فى ضوء مقارناتنا للأراء البحثية والنظريات العلمية الثابت صحتها فلى هذا المجال.<br/>الفصل السادس: يحتوى هذا الفصل على ملخص الرسالة وخلاصة ما توصلت إليه الدراسة مع مقترح لبعض أفكار الأبحاث الأخرى المستقبلية.<br/>الفصل السابع: اشتمل هذا الفصل مصدر ومراجع والدوريات العلمية التى تم الأستعانه بها فى إعداد الرسالة.<br/>نتائج هذه الدراسة: <br/>- كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين، حيث كانت هناك زيادة في (قوة قبضة اليد ، قوة قرصة اللب ، قوة الأصابع الثلاثة ، قوة القرص الجانبي) في المجموعة الرياضية أكثر من المجموعة غير الرياضية.
