Building information modeling is one of the latest technologies that provide<br/>exceptional solutions to the AEC industry. The implementation of BIM in the construction<br/>industry is accelerating globally. However, a low level of adoption of BIM in developing<br/>countries was discovered. This study aims to assess the status of BIM technology in the<br/>Egyptian construction industry and identify the common uses, the main benefits, barriers,<br/>and the vital facilitating factors of implementing BIM. A web-based survey was used to<br/>collect the opinions of practitioners and academics. Then, statistical analysis was used to<br/>summarize the results and draw conclusions and recommendations |

نمذجة معلومات البناء هي واحدة من أحدث التقنيات التي توفر حلولاً استثنائية لصناعة العمارة والهندسة التشييد حيث يتسارع تطبيقها في صناعة التشييد على مستوى العالم. ومع ذلك ، مازال مستوى تطبيقها منخفض في البلدان النامية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم الوضع الحالي لتكنولوجيا نمذجة معلومات البناء في صناعة التشييد المصرية وتحديد استخداماتها الأكثر شيوعًا والفوائد والمعوقات الرئيسية والعوامل المحفزة لتطبيقها. وتم استخدام استبيان لجمع آراء المختصين في قطاع التشييد المصري. وجمعت الدراسة المعلومات من خلال استطلاع على شبكة الإنترنت من ممارسي الصناعة والأكاديميين. ثم تم استخدام التحليل الإحصائي لتحليل النتائج واستخلاص النتائج والتوصيات. |
