| Summary, etc. | تتناول هذه الدراسة أسلوب الاستفهام في ترجمة معاني جزأي عم وتبارك من القرآن الكريم إلى اللغة السواحيلية، من خلال ترجمة الشيخ عبد الله صالح فارسي، وترجمة الشيخ علي محسن البرواني.<br/>قُسمت الدراسة إلى مقدمة وثلاثة فصول وخاتمة، تناول الفصل الأول مفهوم الاستفهام في اللغتين العربية والسواحيلية، ثم تطرق إلى الاستفهام من المنظور النحوي والبلاغي في اللغتين العربية والسواحيلية. وتناول الفصل الثاني: الخصائص اللغوية لأدوات الاستفهام، وقد قسم إلى هذا الفصل إلى مبحثين، تناول المبحث الأول الخصائص الوظيفية لأدوات الاستفهام. أما المبحث الثاني فتناول المعاني السياقية لأدوات الاستفهام. وتناول الفصل الثالث ترجمة الفارسي والبرواني لأسلوب الاستفهام في جزأي عم وتبارك، وينقسم هذا الفصل إلى مبحثين، تناول المبحث الأول ترجمة حروف الاستفهام إلى السواحيلية، أما المبحث الثاني فتناول ترجمة أسماء الاستفهام إلى السواحيلية.<br/>وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أبرزها أن ترجمة النصوص الدينية وفي مقدمتها ترجمة معاني القرآن الكريم من أصعب الإشكاليات التي يواجهها المترجم؛ وذلك لأن القرآن الكريم مليء بالأغراض البلاغية التي تعجز أيّ لغة عن استيعابها. كما أن ترجمة أسلوب الاستفهام لمعاني القرآن الكريم إلى اللغة السواحيلية تحتاج إلى فهم صحيح ودراسة واعية ونية مخلصة؛ وذلك لأن هذا الأسلوب يخرج غالبًا عن معناه الأصلي إلى معان وأغراض بلاغية يدل عليها السياق وقرائن الأحوال وما فيها من دلالتها الخفية. وهذه النوعية من الأساليب البلاغية قد يجد المترجم صعوبة في التعامل معها.<br/> |

| Summary, etc. | This thesis attempts to provide an exploration of the interrogative style in the Swahili translation of the meanings of the Qur’an, covering the two parts of ʻAmma and Tabarak, by both Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Farsi and Sheikh Ali Mohsen Al-Barwani. <br/>The thesis is divided into an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. Chapter One addresses the interrogative concept in Arabic and Swahili and the interrogative style from the grammatical and rhetorical perspectives in Arabic and Swahili. Chapter Two discusses the linguistic characteristics of interrogatives. This chapter is sub-divided into two sections. The first section investigates the functional characteristics of interrogatives. The second section discusses the contextual meanings of interrogatives. Chapter Three investigates Farsi and Barwani’s Swahili translation of the interrogative style in the two Parts of ʻAmma and Tabarak. This chapter is sub-divided into two sections. The first section discusses the Swahili translation of interrogative particles, while the second one addresses the Swahili translation of interrogative pronouns. <br/>The thesis concluded several findings, the most important of which are: the translation of religious texts, particularly the meanings of the Glorious Qur’an, presents a formidable challenge for translators, due to the Glorious Qur’an’s abundant rhetorical purposes that not any language can convey. Additionally, translating the interrogative style in the meanings of the Glorious Qur’an into Swahili requires proper understanding, sober examination, and honest intention, because this style often parts from its original meaning to convey other meanings and rhetorical purposes indicated by the context, circumstantial evidence and its unexpressed denotations. Swahili translators may struggle to addresses such rhetorical styles.<br/> |
