Summary, etc. Lumbar radiculopathy (LR) may be described as pain originating in the lower back region, and radiating into one or both lower limbs.
Purpose: The aim of the present study was to investigate and compare between the effects of lumbar traction (LT) versus spinal mobilization with leg movement (SMWLM) (in addition to traditional physical therapy) on pain intensity, functional disability and lumbar range of motion (ROM) in patients with LR.
Subjects: Sixty patients from both genders, diagnosed by their orthopedist with LR participated in this study, their mean value of age were (38.7± 9.3) years and body mass index was (28.6 ±3.7) kg/m2. Methods: Patients were divided randomly into three groups: Experimental group (A): consisted of 20 patients who received LT and traditional treatment, Experimental group (B): consisted of 20 patients who received SMWLM and traditional treatment, Control group (C): consisted of 20 patients who received traditional treatment only (ultrasonic, hot back, core stability and stretching ex's). Interventions were performed for 12 sessions (3 sessions/ week) over a period of four weeks. Outcomes were assessed at the beginning and at the end of the fourth week using visual analogue scale (VAS) for pain intensity, Oswestry disability index (ODI) for functional disability, and back range of motion (BROM) device to measures ROM of the lumbar spine flexion and extension.
Result: The studied groups were improved significantly post treatment than pretreatment (P<0.05) in all measured variables. In between groups analysis, revealed that there was significant difference among the 3 groups in VAS and ODI (P=0.001), group A and B get improved significantly than group C. While there were no significant differences between groups in BROM (P>0.05).
Conclusion: Both LT and SMWLM were effective in relieving pain and improving functions in patients with LR, although there were no significant differences between both of them.

The aim of the study was to investigate and compare between the effects of lumbar traction (LT) versus spinal mobilization with leg movement (SMWLM) in addition to traditional physical therapy on pain intensity, functional disability and lumbar range of motion (ROM) in patients with LR. 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
