The study aimed to evaluate the impact of digital transformation in the medical file <br/>to improve the quality of documentation in the hospitals of the health sector in <br/>Alexandria, using the Lean Six Sigma methodology, and to achieve this, a <br/>comparison was made at the level of the field study for both. The independent <br/>variable (digital conversion and its three dimensions (accuracy -accessibility - <br/>communication) and medical documentation The dependent variable and its three <br/>dimensions (cost reduction- waiting time- data analysis) The intermediate variable <br/>Lean six sigma The comparison was made through a questionnaire and measuring <br/>its validity and distribution through a field survey of 299 (measuring its stability, <br/>evaluating the two variables of the model, conducting the evaluation process and <br/>comparing it before and after development, testing the main and sub-messages of <br/>the study, and drawing the following results: <br/>1- The awareness of the workers at Sadr Al Mamoura Hospital for each of the <br/>independent variable (digital) and the three dimensions and the dependent variable <br/>(medical documentation) and its three dimensions (reducing costs - waiting time - <br/>data analysis) and the intermediate variable Lean Six Sigma . <br/> 2- The employees of Sadr Al Mamoura Hospital were trained on the system <br/>Digital transformation while raising the level of their awareness of digital <br/>transformation and its three dimensions according to their demographic <br/>characteristics (age - gender - educational background) and implementing <br/>appropriate training for them. <br/>3- Results of hypothesis tests : <br/>There are three main hypothesis emanating from the first main hypothesis 3 sub <br/>Hypotheses <br/>The questionnaire was distributed again to the same sample, and each of the <br/>perceived values of the workers at Sadr Al-Mamoura Hospital and Fever Hospital <br/>in Alexandria was measured for the independent variable, the dependent variable, <br/>its six dimensions, its dimensions, and the mediating variable. <br/>4- The results of the evaluation of the workers at Al-Mamoura Chest Hospital and <br/>the Fever Hospital affiliated to the Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria <br/>proved that the workers’ awareness of the independent variable of digital <br/>transformation and its three dimensions, the dependent variable, medical <br/>documentation and its three dimensions, and the intermediate variable, Lean Six <br/>Sigma . <br/> Method: <br/> I used a qualitative cross-sectional survey design with a questionnaire for socio <br/>demographic data and a five Likert scale questionnaire on the impact of digital <br/>transformation to improve the quality of medical documentation using the Lean Six <br/>Sigma methodology and a descriptive analytical statistical approach. <br/>Results: <br/>There is a statistically significant positive impact between the independent <br/>variable (digital transformation) and the dependent variable (medical <br/>documentation). <br/>There is a positive statistical impact between the three dimensions (accuracy – <br/>accessibility - ease of communication) of the independent variable (digital <br/>transformation ) on the mediator (Lean Six Sigma). <br/>There is a statistically significant positive impact between the madiator (Lean Six <br/>Sigma) on the dependent variable (medical documentation). <br/>They are the main hypotheses of the study. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Recommendations: <br/>1- The researcher recommends to apply digital transformation to Sadr Al-<br/>Mammoura Hospital. <br/>2- The researcher recommends to apply digital transformation in the hospital and <br/>all hospitals affiliated to the Directorate of Health Affairs. <br/>3- Spreading the culture of digital transformation among employees and making <br/>them aware of its importance. <br/>3- Using technical expertise in selecting modern technology for digital <br/>transformation in hospitals. <br/>4- Establishing a secure system to save the patient's medical information. <br/>5- Integrate all hospital departments to this system and linking all other hospitals <br/>to it. <br/>6- Requesting Financial support from the Directorate of Health Affairs to increase <br/>the financial resources allocated for digital transformation. <br/>7- Establishing a team with expertise responsible for achieving sustainability and <br/>benefiting from expertise. <br/>8- More researches need to be done in deferent dimensions of both variables of <br/>study.<br/> The researcher summarize the previous recommendations and will present the <br/>research to the administration of Sadr Al-Mammoura Hospital of the Directorate of <br/>Health Affairs in Alexandria and recommend to be applied to all hospitals of the <br/>Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria |

هدفت الدراسة إلى تقييم أثر التحول الرقمي في الملف الطبي لتحسين جودة التوثيق في مستشفيات القطاع الصحي بالإسكندرية باستخدام منهجية Lean Six Sigma ، ولتحقيق ذلك تم عمل مقارنة على مستوى الدراسة الميدانية لكليهما. المتغير المستقل (التحويل الرقمي وأبعاده الثلاثة (الدقة - إمكانية الوصول - الاتصال) والتوثيق الطبي المتغير التابع وأبعاده الثلاثة (خفض التكلفة - وقت الانتظار - تحليل البيانات) المتغير الوسيط Lean six sigma تمت المقارنة من خلال استبيان وقياس صدقها وتوزيعها من خلال مسح ميداني لعدد 299 (قياس ثباتها ، وتقييم متغيري النموذج ، وإجراء عملية التقييم ومقارنتها قبل وبعد التطوير ، واختبار الرسائل الرئيسية والفرعية للدراسة ، والرسم. النتائج التالية:<br/>1- توعية العاملين بمستشفى صدر المعمورة لكل من المتغير المستقل (الرقمي) والأبعاد الثلاثة والمتغير التابع (التوثيق الطبي) وأبعاده الثلاثة (خفض التكاليف - وقت الانتظار - تحليل البيانات) والمتوسط. متغير Lean Six Sigma.<br/> 2- تم تدريب موظفي مستشفى صدر المعمورة على نظام التحول الرقمي مع رفع مستوى وعيهم بالتحول الرقمي وأبعاده الثلاثة حسب خصائصهم الديموغرافية (العمر - الجنس - الخلفية التعليمية) وتنفيذ التدريب المناسب لهم.<br/> النتائج: <br/>- الفرضيات الرئيسية الأولى:<br/>- وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية موجبة بين المتغير المستقل (التحول الرقمي) والمتغير التابع (التوثيق الطبي).<br/>و كذلك<br/>- يوجد أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية إيجابية بين الأبعاد الثلاثة (الدقة - إمكانية الوصول - سهولة الاتصال) للمتغير المستقل (التحول الرقمي) على البعد الأول (التكلفة) للمتغير التابع (التوثيق الطبي<br/>- يوجد أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية إيجابية بين الأبعاد الثلاثة (الدقة - سهولة الوصول - سهولة الاتصال) للمتغير المستقل (التحول الرقمي) على البعد الثاني (وقت الانتظار) للمتغير التابع (التوثيق الطبي).<br/>- يوجد أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية إيجابية بين الأبعاد الثلاثة (الدقة - إمكانية الوصول - سهولة الاتصال) للمتغير المستقل (التحول الرقمي) على البعد الثالث (تحليل البيانات) للمتغير التابع (التوثيق الطبي)<br/>- هناك تأثير إحصائي إيجابي بين الأبعاد الثلاثة (الدقة - إمكانية الوصول - سهولة الاتصال) للمتغير المستقل (التحول الرقمي) على الوسيط (Lean Six Sigma)<br/>- هناك تأثير ذو دلالة إحصائية إيجابية بين الوسيط (Lean Six Sigma) على المتغير التابع (التوثيق الطبي). |
