A new methodology for time domain analysis of buildings on raft foundations considering SSI is proposed. Sub-structuring technique is used to separate the super structure and the soil as sub structure. The building is modeled via the BEM to consider the real interaction area between columns and slabs. The dynamic load is considered as an earthquake acceleration record that can be transformed to equivalent dynamic loads acting on the building floors. The soil is presented with two proposed BEM models in this thesis. In the first, the soil is analyzed using BEM as closed domain. In the second, the soil is modeled as elastic half space using Kelvin’s fundamental solutions to model any shape of EHS. The inertia domain integral is transformed to boundaries via DRM. Iterative coupling technique is proposed between the building and soil. Practical buildings are presented to demonstrate the practicality of the proposed time domain analysis. |

تقدم هذه الرسالة مقترح لتحليل المنشآت معتبراً تأثير التداخل بين المنشأ و التربة. يتم التحليل النشائي عن طريق التجزئة كمنشأ فوق الترية و منشأ التربة. كما يتم الربط بينهما بطريقه تجريبية لتوفير المساحة المطلوبة للتحليل الإنشائي و كذلك وقت التحليل. تقدم الرسالة مقترحين باستخدام طريقة العناصر الحدودية مع طريقة التبادل المزدوج لتمثيل التربة إما كحجم مغلق ثلاثي الأبعاد أو ككرة نصف متناهية الامتداد. تستخدم طريقة العناصر الحدودية لتمثيل المنشأ فوق سطح الأرض كذلك لضمان التمثيل الأمثل لإتصال العناصر الرأسية مع البلاطات الأفقية. تقدم هذه الرسالة عدد من المباني الواقعية لتحليلها بالطرق المقترحة و مقارنة نتائجها مع طريقة العناصر المحدودة. كما توضح بعض المعايير لتوضيح كفائة الطرق المقترحة من ناحية المساحة التخزينية المطلوبة و الوقت المطلوب للتحليل الإنشائي. |
