Summary, etc. Concrete is the most important worldwide building materials. Durability is an important issue in its application in aggressive environments for long service life. Concrete strength is often used as an indication for durability. Permeability could be also considered an indication for concrete durability. Permeability measures the rate at which a fluid permeates through the concrete under a given head pressure. The more quick a fluid moves through the concrete, the more permeable the concrete is the higher the permeability. This study aims to investigate the ability of producing impermeable concrete using several techniques, through internal & external methods, i.e. through improving its components by adding materials aiming to produce very dense concrete or through curing concrete surface to become impermeable

Summary, etc. الخرسانة هي أهم مواد البناء في العالم. المتانة هي قضية مهمة في تطبيقها في البيئات العدوانية لعمر خدمة طويل. غالبًا ما تستخدم قوة الخرسانة كمؤشر على المتانة. يمكن اعتبار النفاذية أيضًا مؤشرًا على متانة الخرسانة. تقيس النفاذية المعدل الذي يتخلل به السائل عبر الخرسانة تحت ضغط رأس معين. كلما زادت سرعة تحرك السائل عبر الخرسانة زادت نفاذية الخرسانة. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من القدرة على إنتاج خرسانة غير منفذة باستخدام عدة تقنيات من خلال طرق داخلية وخارجية أي من خلال تحسين مكوناتها عن طريق إضافة مواد تهدف إلى إنتاج خرسانة كثيفة للغاية أو من خلال معالجة سطح الخرسانة لتصبح غير منفذة.
