| Summary, etc. | Purpose: To compare two different mixtures of preservative free intracameral mydriatics and assess their effectiveness on pupillary dilatation and their safety on corneal endothelium. <br/>Methods: this randomized clinical trial carried out on 44patients, Patients were divided into two groups, Group 1: consists of 22 patients who received phenylmedrin mixture,Group 2: consists of 22 patients who received adrenalin mixture <br/> Primary outcomes: Measurement of: Pupillary dilatation at 5 different time points:Before corneal incision T1,Before the ophthalmic viscoelastic device (OVD) injection T2,After the ophthalmic viscoelastic device (OVD) injection T3,Before IOL omplantation T4,At the end of surgery T5. <br/>Secondary outcomes: Measurement of: corneal endothelial cell count, the phacoemulsification time, post operative intra ocular pressure, and post operative visual acuity. <br/>Results: <br/>Phenylephrine was found to be more effective than Epinephrine in pupillary dilatation. However, Phenylephrine caused significantly higher elevation in IOP when compared to Epinephrine. <br/>Endothelial cell loss was reported in Phenylephrine and Epinephrine groups. However, Phenylephrine caused significantly higher endothelial cell loss when compared to epinephrine. |

| Summary, etc. | الغرض: مقارنة مزيجين مختلفين من المواد الحافظة داخل حجرة العين وتقويم فعاليتهما في توسيع حدقة العين وسلامتهما على بطانة القرنية.<br/><br/>الطرق: أجريت هذه التجربة السريرية العشوائية على 44 مريضًا، وتم تقسيم المرضى إلى مجموعتين، المجموعة 1: تتكون من 22 مريضًا تلقوا مزيج فينيل ميدرين، المجموعة 2: تتكون من 22 مريضًا تلقوا مزيج الأدرينالين<br/><br/>النتائج الأولية: قياس: اتساع حدقة العين في 5 نقاط زمنية مختلفة: قبل شق القرنية T1، قبل حقن جهاز اللزوجة المرنة للعين T2، بعد حقن جهاز اللزوجة المرنة للعين T3، قبل زراعة العدسة داخل العين T4، في نهاية الجراحة T5.<br/>النتائج الثانوية: قياس: عدد الخلايا البطانية للقرنية، وزمن استحلاب العدسة، وضغط العين بعد الجراحة، وحدة البصر بعد الجراحة.<br/><br/>النتائج:<br/>وجد أن الفينيليفرين أكثر فعالية من الأدرينالين في توسع حدقة العين. ومع ذلك، تسبب الفينيليفرين في ارتفاع ضغط العين بشكل ملحوظ عند مقارنته بالأدرينالين.<br/>تم الإبلاغ عن فقدان الخلايا البطانية في مجموعات الفينيليفرين والأدرينالين. ومع ذلك، تسبب الفينيليفرين في فقدان الخلايا البطانية بشكل ملحوظ عند مقارنته بالأدرينالين. |
