Summary, etc. Herein, we describe a novel electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation <br/>reaction through modulation of the composition and structure at nanoscale. <br/>The nanocomposite consists of Ni2+-doped amine-functionalized UiO-66-NH <br/>2<br/>metal-organic framework nanoparticles deposited onto multi-walled carbon <br/>nanotubes acting as a chemical precursor. The resultant electrocatalyst <br/>material exhibited remarkable catalytic activity for methanol <br/>oxidation exhibiting an onset potential as low as 0.42 V versus Hg/HgO <br/>reference electrode with a maximum current density of 143 mA/cm2 achieved <br/>at 1.0 M methanol concentration and applied potential of 0.6 V versus <br/>Hg/HgO. The Ni2+-doped UiO-66-NH /MWCNTs nanocomposite <br/>2<br/>demonstrated encouraging electrochemical durability for methanol oxidation, <br/>retaining 93.5% of its initial current density even after performing <br/>chronoamperometry for 1 hour and maintaining more than 84.1% of its current <br/>density after prolonged chronoamperometry experiment lasting 10 hours. The <br/>enhanced catalytic activity and durability of the nanocomposite <br/>catalyst synthesized can be ascribed to the synergistic integration of Ni2+-<br/>doped UiO-66-NH MOF nanoparticles as active sites for catalysis and multi-<br/>2<br/>walled carbon nanotubes acting as conductive support and backbone.

Summary, etc. تصف هذه األطروحة العلمية محفًزا كهربائيًا جديدًا لتفاعل أكسدة الميثانول مكون من أطر <br/>معدنية والذي تم بنائه على أنابيب الكربون النانومترية متعددة الجدران وتم تطعيمه بذرات النيكل. <br/>أظهر هذا المحفز الكهربائي الناتج نشاًطا حفزيًا ملحوًظا في تفاعل أكسدة الميثانول باستخدام جهد <br/>كهربي قليل جدا يصل إلى 0.42 فولت مقابل اإللكترود المرجعي الزئبقي القاعدي وبلغت شدة كثاف <br/><br/>ة <br/>التيار أقصاها عند استخدام 1 موالري فقط من الميثانول حيث بلغت 143 ميلي أمبير لكل سم 2. <br/>باإلضافة إلي ئلك أظهر العامل الحفازالمحضر قدرة على استمرارية وثبات أكسدة الميثانول بقدرة <br/>تصل إلى 93.5% بعد ساعة متواصلة وحافظ على 84.1% من شدة كثافة التيار بعد 10 ساعات <br/>متواصلة في إلكتروليت مكون من 1 موالري من الميثانول و 1 موالري من هيدروكسيد البوتاسيوم. <br/>ترجع هذه القدرة الفائقة على أكسدة الميثانول على وجود النيكل الذ يساعد على عملية أكسدة الميثانول <br/>بجانب أنابيب الكربون النانومترية متعددة الجدران والتي تتميز بالتوصيل الفائق للكهرباء
