| Summary, etc. | Sixty class II obese subjects (15 men and 15 women) with blood group (O) participated in this study. Their age ranged from 40 to 45 years. They were assigned randomly into 2 equal groups. Group (A) included 30 subjects (15 males and 15 females) who received blood group O diet (high protein diet) and high intensity interval training (HIIT) 3 sessions /week for 12 weeks. Group (B) included 30 subjects (15 males and 15 females) who received caloric diet (high carbohydrate diet) and HIIT 3 sessions /week for 12 weeks. Evaluation was done before and after the interventions in both groups. Body weight, body mass index (BMI) were assessed using weight and height scale, waist-to- hip ratio (WHR) using non-stretchable measuring tape, body fat percentage (BF%) using body composition analyzer, basal metabolic rate (BMR) using Harris-Benedict equation, uric acid level, serum creatinine level, blood urea and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) by biochemistry analyzer. HIIT combined with blood group (O) diet can reduce weight and promote glycemic control in obese subjects. |

| Summary, etc. | اشتركت فى هذه الدراسة ست وخمسون سيدة اشتكين من إمساك ما بعد الولادة. تم تشخيصهن جيدا باستخدام معايير روما ٣ وتم تأكيد التشخيص من قبل طبيب التوليد .تم تقسيمهن بشكل عشوائي إلى مجموعتين متساويتين فى العدد.مجموعة الدراسة: والتى عولجت السيدات فيها بواسطة التحفيز الثنائي للعصب الظنبوبى عبر الجلد لمدة ٣٠ دقيقة ،وتمارين التنفس الحجابى ،وتدريب عضلات البطن ونصائح للعناية بالأمعاء.المجموعة الضابطة :حصلت السيدات فيها على نفس التدخل مثل مجموعة الدراسة باستثناء برنامج التحفيز الثنائى للعصب الظنبوبى عبر الجلد.تم تقييم كل إمرأة فى كل مجموعة قبل وبعد ١٢ جلسة من العلاج من خلال مقياس بريستول للبراز، استبيان تقييم المريض لأعراض الإمساك و استبيان تقييم المريض لجودة الحياة . يجب إقتراح إضافة التحفيز الثنائى للعصب الظنبوبى عبر الجلد إلى التمارين التقليدية ، بما في ذلك التنفس الحجابي ، وتدريب عضلات البطن ، ونصائح العناية بالأمعاء، كبرنامج علاج فعال للإمساك للسيدات بعد الولادة. |
