| Summary, etc. | Background: Laparoscopy is a diagnostic method that has become consolidated for <br/>therapeutic use. Numerous medical training institutions found that integrating <br/>laparoscopic simulation into their curriculum improves training outcomes and <br/>ultimately supports better patient care. <br/>Objective: Evaluation of the proficiency of formal laparoscopic MR training against <br/>traditional lab sim box. <br/>Patients and Methods: A total of 20 obstetrics and gynecology residents during their <br/>first and second years of residency who were inexperienced in diagnostic laparoscopy <br/>were enrolled, 10 of them were trained to perform diagnostic laparoscopy procedures on <br/>a novel ergonomic mixed reality (MR) simulator while the other 10 received formal <br/>laparoscopic training on low fidelity traditional lab sim box then both were compared in <br/>a real surgical situation and evaluated according to a score including checkpoints as <br/>positioning of patients, insertion of trocars, using laparoscopic tools comfortably, and <br/>identification of abdominal and pelvic structure, safe removal of instruments and timing <br/>of the procedure. <br/>Results: Virtamed laparoS trained group of residents were more capable of performing <br/>diagnostic laparoscopy procedure with better scores regarding all the checkpoints except <br/>for the veress needle insertion that showed no difference between the two groups. <br/>Conclusion: Laparoscopic simulators are advised to be integrated in medical training <br/>institutions rather than traditional box pelvi-trainers whenever possible as it is <br/>associated with better training outcomes and ultimately supports better patient care. |

| Summary, etc. | منظار البطن هو طريقة تشخيصية تم توصيفها للاستخدام العلاجي لتقليل مضاعفات العمليات الجراحية المفتوحة حيث يوجد ألم أقل ، وانزعاج أقل للمريض ، وإقامة أقل في المستشفى، وشقوق أصغر ، ووقت تعافي أقصر من الجراحة المفتوحة.<br/> توفر طرق تدريب مختلفة بالمنظار بما في ذلك الجثث ونموذج الحيوان ومدرب الصندوق وأجهزة محاكاة الواقع الافتراضي التي تعد أكثر طرق التدريب تقدمًا.<br/>يتضمن VirtaMed LaparoS™ التحضير الإجرائي الكامل: وضع المريض ووضع المبازل. ثم هناك الجزء العملي - التعلم خطوة بخطوة عبر المستويات المختلفة.<br/>يشتمل VirtaMed LaparoS ™ على نموذج بطن صحيح تشريحيًا يمكن استخدامه لوضع Trendelenburg (العكسي) بما يتناسب مع التدريب. تعطي للأنسجة إحساس اللمس والرفع والتوتر على الأعضاء والأنسجة المحاكية. يتعلم الجراحون إتقان أدواتهم جنبًا إلى جنب مع مساعد بكاميرا ، وإعدادهم على النحو الأمثل لغرفة العمليات.<br/>الهدف من الدراسة:<br/>هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقییم فعالیة التدریب على جھاز محاكاة الواقع الافتراضي في تحسین المھارات الأساسیة للمناظیر الباطنیھ لأمراض النساء وتقییم مستویات التدریب بین أطباء النساء والتولید.<br/>نوع ومكان وزمن الدراسة:<br/>أجريت هذه الدراسة الاستباقية في قسم أمراض النساء والتوليد - كلية الطب - جامعة القاهرة "وحدة VESSALKA ، مستشفى القصر العيني - مختبر محاكاة واكتساب المهارات بالمنظار الظاهري - من أكتوبر 2021 حتى أكتوبر 2022.<br/>تدخلات الدراسة:<br/>خلال هذه الدراسة ، تم تسجيل 20 طبيبا مقيماً في أمراض النساء والتوليد خلال العامين الأول والثاني من النيابة الذين لم يكن لديهم خبرة في منظار البطن التشخيصي. تم تدريب 10 أطباء مقيمين عديمي الخبرة على جهاز محاكاة جديد على إجراءات منظار البطن التشخيصي ثم تم تقييمهم في حالات جراحية حقيقية ومقارنتهم بـ 10 أطباء مقيمين آخرين تلقوا تدريبًا رسميًا تقليديا بالمنظار.<br/>تم تقييم المجموعتين وفقًا لدرجة تشمل نقاط مثل إدخال المبازل ، وضبط وضع المرضى ، واستخدام أدوات منظار البطن بشكل مريح ، وتحديد بنية البطن والحوض والإزالة الآمنة للأدوات و توقيت الإجراء. حصل كل مشارك في نهاية الدراسة على درجة وفقًا لهذه المتغيرات.<br/>النتائج:<br/>أثبتت هذه الدراسة أن مجموعة Virtamed laproS المدربة من المقيمين كانت أكثر قدرة على إجراء منظارالبطن التشخيصي مع درجات أفضل فيما يتعلق بجميع نقاط التفتيش باستثناء إدخال الإبرة Veress needle الذي لم يظهر أي فرق بين المجموعتين.<br/>الإستنتاج:<br/>في الختام ، يُنصح باستخدام أجهزة المحاكاة بالمنظار في مؤسسات التدريب الطبي بدلاً من التدريب على صندوق الحوض التقليدي لأنها مرتبطة بنتائج تدريب أفضل وتدعم في النهاية رعاية أفضل للمرضى.<br/>يمكن للدراسة الحالية أن تثقل المعرفة وتلقي بعض الضوء على الدراسات المستقبلية بأحجام عينات أكبر لتقييم نتائج دراستنا. |
