Summary, etc. 5th Generation antenna arrays require accurate control over the relative magnitudes and phases of the signals feeding each antenna element in order to direct the beam to any desired location. This is usually realized through Variable Gain Amplifiers and Phase Shifters integrated in beamformer chips each interfaces with an antenna element. This thesis discusses the design of a wideband phase shifter circuit operating from 24 to 40 GHz covering both 5G mmWave frequency bands. The thesis starts with the design of a phase shifter centered around 39 GHz and then describes how its topology was modified to cover a wider frequency band
