Summary, etc. | The main conclusions to be drawn from this study are detailed throughout the thesis and brought together here. They are summarized below with the remaining challenges and recommendations for future analyses, where appropriate.<br/>• The dataset available for this study, which aims to characterize the reservoir observed on seismic, and logs consists of conventional logs, 3D seismic data, and various data. The available dataset has allowed a detailed characterization of simian reservoir.<br/>• Spectral decomposition offers superior accuracy and precision compared to conventional attributes with full bandwidth. It not only reveals variations in thickness but also highlights stratigraphic and structural boundaries, allowing for the observation of distinct subsurface seismic frequencies.<br/>• In the context of reservoir architecture identification using near-stack seismic data, the spectral decomposition technique proves highly advantageous. It incorporates a more extensive range of low-frequency information from the far-stack seismic dataset, making it particularly well-suited for fluid detection through spectral decomposition. In this regard, it exhibits greater sensitivity to fluids compared to conventional attributes.<br/>• Seismic inversion is a commonly utilized geophysical method used to estimate subsurface porosity by analyzing seismic data. This technique entails transforming seismic reflection data into a numerical depiction of subsurface characteristics. Its primary objective is to establish a correlation between seismic attributes (comprising amplitude, phase, and frequency content) and rock properties, particularly porosity.<br/>• Porosity acts as a metric for quantifying the empty spaces or voids present within a rock formation, and it holds a pivotal role in assessing the reservoir's potential and its capacity to store fluids. It directly affects the movement of oil, gas, and water in the subsurface.<br/>• In order to accomplish this, a rock physics model is formulated, taking into account the elastic characteristics of the rock, attributes of the pore fluid, and the connection between porosity and permeability. This model can be constructed using well log data, yielding valuable information about subsurface characteristics.<br/>• Through the utilization of seismic inversion, geoscientists can gain valuable information about subsurface porosity and its impact on fluid flow dynamics. This knowledge aids in making informed decisions in various applications, such as resource exploration and reservoir management.<br/>• Using multi-seismic attributes, the MLP-supervised Artificial Neural Network analysis effectively distinguished gas-bearing zones from both the aquifer and the surrounding mudrock zones. This discrimination allowed for the extraction of these zones from the typical seismic reflections. This achievement was made possible by integrating fluid-sensitive seismic attributes with randomly selected pick set point data, derived from well log data, thus providing a precise and authentic means of characterizing the Simian reservoir.<br/>• The ANN analysis, in conjunction with the 3D seismic attributes, holds the potential to significantly contribute to future development plans for the Simian Field. Moreover, it can facilitate the monitoring of water aquifer and gas reservoir volumes with accuracy.<br/> |

Summary, etc. | توصيف الخزان والإمكانات الهيدروكربونية لحقل سيميان، غرب دلتا النيل، مصر<br/>تختص هذه الرساله بتقييم التطور الترسيبى و والإمكانات الهيدروكربونيه لحقل سيميان ،غربدلتاالنيل وذلك باستخدام طرق النمذجة المجسمة الحديثة وبرامج الحاسب الآلى المتقدمة فى هذا الشأن وايضا الذكاء الاصطناعى المتقدم.<br/>أهتمت الدراسه بشكل خاص بتتبع تطور طرز الترسيب وهندسة خزان سيينا الذى يتكون من مجارى منحدره على المنحدر القارى فى عمق مياه البحر المتوسط قبالة دلتا نهر النيل وذلك بدمج نتائج الدراسات البتروفيزيائية ( قياسات ونتائج سير الابار) مع المسح السيزمى المجسم عالى الدقه والذى يظهر شكل وتوزيع هذه المجارى المنحدره العميقة بشكل مذهل.<br/>ناقشت الدراسه بشكل عميق طرق حل مشاكل المياه و مشاكل التنبأ بالمسامية بين الابار وذلك باستخدام خطط تتبع العمل لانتاج النماذج الثنائية الابعاد والثلاثيه الابعاد باستخدام المتوافر من معلومات الابار والقطاعات السيزميه ثلاثيه الابعاد عاليه الدقه.<br/>أمكن عن طريق بناء هذه النماذج الارضيه ودمجها مع غيرها من النماذج الجيولوجية والترسيبية ، من حل مشاكل اداره الآبار من حيث تحسن أنتاجها.<br/>و من أهم النتائج ما يلى :<br/>1. ناقشت الرسالة علاقة موقع حقل سيميان بما يحتوية من آبار مع غيره من حقول منطقة الامتياز الخاصة بمنطقة غري دلتا النيل البحريه العميقة، وذلك من خلال تقييم الدراسات الرسوبية والتركيبية والبترولية ونطورها التاريخى باستخدام الشبكة العصبية كطبيق للذكاء الاصطناعى فى حل مشاكل الخزان.<br/>2. ناقشت الرسالة كيفية فصل الاماكن الحاملة للغاز عن أماكن تواجد المياة وقد ساعد ذلك فى حلالمشاكل الإقتصادية فى اداره الانتاج الذى يكلف الشركات اموال طائلة. و قد قامت الدراسة ببناء نماذج متكرره ثلاثية الابعاد و دمجها مع العوامل الجيولوجية لتساعد فى حل مشاكل حفر الابار العميقة.<br/>3. ناقشت الرسالة مشكلة تتبع الخزان الحامل للمواد للهيدروكربونية وخصائصه البتروفيزائيةوشكلة الترسيبى ليس فقط فى أماكن الابار المنتجة ولكن ايضا فى الأماكن البينيةمما يساعد كثيرا فى حسن اداره الآبار بالمنطقة.<br/>4. من المتوقع ان تساعد الرسالة ونتائجها فى تغير استراتيجية الشركات فى اداره الحقول التى لها نفس الظروف الجيولوجية والجيوبيئية المعقده فى منطقه غرب الدلتا البحريه العميقة.وذلك بمحاولة تطبيق بعض او كل النماذج الترسيبية المختلفة.<br/> |
