| Summary, etc. | Extreme value distributions remain the commonly employed technique for investigating the probability of occurrence of extreme events for given recurrence of intervals. It is largely used in risk management, finance, insurance, economics, hydrology, material sciences, telecommunications, and many other industries dealing with extreme events. <br/>Due to the importance of extreme value distributions, the main aim of this thesis is to introduce new generator for modeling extreme value based on the star-shaped property. The new class is named the composed –G Q class. To examine the performance of the new generator and to contribute to the extreme value distributions, we introduced new family depends on Fréchet distribution, this family called composed- Fréchet Q family. A sub-model of the new family called the composed- Fréchet exponential (C-FE) distribution is presented to provide the flexibality of the family. Bayesian and non-Bayesian method are used to estimate the parameters of C-FE distribution based on complete and Type II censored samples. Two real data sets are taken to explore the potentiality of the C-FE distribution and concluded that it is more flexible and fits the positive dataset very well than some distributions taken for comparison. |

| Summary, etc. | تنشأ توزيعات القيمة المتطرفة كتوزيعات محدود للحد الأقصى أو الأدنى لعينة من المتغيرات العشوائية المستقلة مع زيادة حجم العينة. وبالتالى فإن نظرية القيمة المتطرفة هى نظرية نمذجة وقياس الأحداث التى تحدث بإحتمالية صغيرة جدا. وهذا يعنى فائدتها فى نمذجة المخاطر حيث أن الأحداث المحفوفة بالمخاطر لكل تعريف تحدث بإحتمالية صغيرة. وبالتالى، فإن هذه التوزيعات مهمة فى الإحصاء، حيث تستخدم هذه التوزيعات على نطاق واسع فى إدارة المخاطر، التمويل، التأمين، الاقتصاد، الهيدرولوجيا، الاتصالات و العديد من الصناعات الأخرى التى تتعامل مع الأحداث المتطرفة. تتضمن فئة توزيعات القيمة المتطرفة بشكل أساسى ثلاثة أنواع من توزيعات القيمة المتطرفة. وهذه الانواع هى النوع الأول (Gumbel distribution)، النوع الثانى (Fréchet distribution) والنوع الثالث (Weibull distribution). حيت تم استخدام توزيع Gumbel الذي سمي على اسم عالم الرياضيات الألماني Emil Gumbel ، على نطاق واسع في مختلف المجالات بما في ذلك الهيدرولوجيا لنمذجة الأحداث المتطرفة. كما طبق Gumbel (1958) نظرية القيمة المتطرفة على مشاكل العالم الحقيقي في الهندسة وفي ظواهر الأرصاد الجوية مثل تدفقات الفيضانات السنوية . تم تسمية توزيع القيمة المتطرفة من النوع الثاني على اسم عالم الرياضيات الفرنسى Maurice Fréchet حيث ابتكر Fréchet (1927) توزيعًا محدودًا محتملاً لتسلسل الحد الأقصى. قدم Weibull (1939) النوع الثالث من توزيعات القيمة المتطرفة حيث تم تسميته على اسم العالم السويدى .Waloddi Weibull |
