Summary, etc. | Background: Performance is important for organizations as employee performance leads to task success also it is important for individual success & satisfaction. Performance of the nurses is especially important in accomplishing health care in continuous and effective way, also there is strong relationship between technical nurses' performance and their work environment factors. Aim: The study aimed to assess technical nurses' perception of work environment factors that affect their performance. Design: A descriptive exploratory research design was utilized. Setting: study was conducted at National Cancer Institute which is affiliated to Cairo University hospitals. Sample: Convenience sample (n=96) of technical nurses was used. Tool: one tool (work environment factors questionnaire) was used it composed of eight domains (68 items). Result: The highest percentage of technical nurses highly perceived that environmental factors domains had extensive effect on their performance (83.3%).Added that (90.3% & 87.7%) respectively had the highest perception regarding availability of job aids & adequate resources & collegial nurse and other health team members' relations domains. There was no statistical significant relation between work environment factors that affect technical nurses' performance and their personal characteristics. Conclusion: The study concluded that the highest percentage of technical nurses highly perceived that environmental factors domains had extensive effect on their performance added that most of them had the highest perception regarding availability of job aids & adequate resources & collegial nurse and other health team members' relations domains. There was no statistical significant relation between work environment domains and technical nurses’ personal characteristics, workplace, years of experience and continuous education in oncology nursing. Recommendations: Administrators must support technical nurses with well-structured work environment. Nurse unit managers should ensure availability and dissemination of guidelines, standard, policy and procedures to achieve organizational objectives. Nurse unit managers should support technical nurses with establishment of suitable, collaborative and safe work environment. Nurse unit managers should share technical nurses in goal setting, decisions and provide constructive feedback. Hospital administrators should develop and apply fair reward system. |

Summary, etc. | يعتبر الأداء مهم بالنسبه للمؤسسات و ذلك لأنه يؤدى إلى نجاح المهام و أيضا نجاح و رضاء الفرد و خصوصا أداء التمريض هام لإستمرار تحقيق الرعاية الصحية بطريقة صحيحه وهناك أيضا علاقة قوية بين أداء فنيين التمريض و عوامل بيئة العمل . الهدف: يهدف البحث الى تقييم إدراك فنيين التمريض لعوامل بيئة العمل المؤثره على أدائهم. تصميم البحث: تم استخدام تصميم وصفي استكشافى فى الدراسة الحالية. مكــان تنفيذ البحــث: أجريت هذه الدراسة بالمعهد القومى للأورام التابع لجامعة القاهره.عينة البحث: شملت عينه متاحة من فنيين التمريض (العدد = 96 ). أداة البحث: لقد تم استخدام أداة بحث واحدة (استبيان لعوامل بيئة العمل ) و قد كان يتكون من ثمانية محاور (68 عنصرا). نتائج البحث: أسفرت نتائج البحث الي ادراك معظم فنيين التمريض ان عوامل بيئه العمل تؤثر بشكل كبير علي ادائهم.بالإضافه إلى إدراك (90.3% و 87.7%)من فنيين التمريض الي توافر الادوات والمصادر اللازمه و العلاقة بين الزملاء انها تؤثر عليهم بشكل كبير . عدم وجود علاقات احصائية بين البيانات الشخصية لفنيين التمريض وكذلك إدراكهم الكلي لعوامل بيئة العمل التي تؤثر علي أدائهم. الخلاصه: خلصت نتائج الدراسة الحالية إلى إدراك نسبة عاليه من فنيين التمريض أن عوامل بيئة العمل لها تأثير كبيرعلى أدائهم بالإضافة إلى أن معظمهم لهم أعلى إدراك تجاه توافر الأدوات المساعدة للعمل و إتاحة المصادر المناسبة و علاقة التمريض بباقى أعضاء فريق العمل الصحى.لا يوجد علاقة إحصائية هامة بين إدراك فنيين التمريض الكلي لعوامل بيئة العمل وبياناتهم الشخصية، مكان العمل ، سنوات الخبره والتعليم المستمر فى تمريض الأورام. التوصيات: يجب ان يدعم مديرى التمريض فنيين التمريض بيئة عمل ذات تصميم مناسب آمن. لابد أن يتأكد مشرفى وحدات التمريض من توافر و نشر التعليمات , المعايير , السياسات و الإجراءات اللازمه لتحقيق أهداف المنظمة. مشاركة مشرفي الوحدات لفنيين التمريض في صنع القرار بالمؤسسة. تطبيق نظام المكافئات العادل من قبل مديري المستشفيات. |
