Summary, etc. This thesis presents the successful development of a low-cost ventilator with high accuracy, incorporating sensor fusion and artificial neural networks. This ventilator supports three volume ventilation modes and utilizes a dataset of 2601 samples for designing the Artificial neural network (ANN) based control loop. It is the first documented instance where ANN is employed in the control loop design. The final ANN model achieves an acceptable mean square error of 24.79 in determining blower speed, and high determination coefficient of 87.97%, contributing to enhanced performance and convergence of the PID controller.
