| Summary, etc. | Thanks to the excavations of Henri Henne, a group of Coptic and Greek ostraca was<br/>discovered at Tell Edfu in the 1920s and is now kept at the Louvre Museum. Under the<br/>umbrella of the on-going project at the Ifao “Edfu in the Seventh Century,” directed by Prof.<br/>Alain Delattre and Prof. Anne Boud’hors since 2015, this group was allocated to me to work<br/>on its edition. Against this background, my work on this collection began in 2019.<br/>The Louvre ostraca consists of 100 potsherds, which can be divided into two main groups<br/>according to their language; first, the Coptic ostraca represent the vast majority (94 ost.),<br/>second, the less numbered Greek ostraca (6 ost.) After intensive work on the photographs<br/>accompanied by several visits to the collection at the storage of the Louvre Museum over the<br/>last four years, the editions of the collection were completed. The main components of the<br/>collection are tax receipts in kind, receipts, orders of payment, accounts, and letters. The<br/>analysis of their content and archaeological context, in addition to paleographical and<br/>onomasticon studies, showed an undoubted relationship between the collection and the<br/>archive of Papas and the Greek and Coptic ostraca of the Ifao.<br/>Papas was the pagarch of Edfu in the 660s and/or 670s, just after the Arab conquest of Egypt<br/>in 641AD. His archive contains both Greek and Coptic papyri concerning official and family<br/>business issues. The Greek part of the archive was early published by Roger Rémondon in<br/>1953 (<br/>P.Apoll.). While the Coptic part was neglected for many years, fortunately, it is now<br/>under study by the team of the aforementioned Edfu project, and it will soon be published<br/>along with re-editions for some Greek documents. The Ifao ostraca, on the other hand, were<br/>discovered by excavations of the Franco-Polish mission in the vicinity of Tell Edfu. It was<br/>published by Seÿna Bacot in 2009 (<br/>O.EdfouIFAO). Twenty-seven ostraca from the Louvre<br/>collection were published by Chantal Heurtel 25 years ago, but her publication has some<br/>remarks, which were modified here. To complete the picture of Edfu in the seventh century,<br/>the edition of the Louvre ostraca was a must. In addition to the editions, the potentiality of<br/>using the narratives of these ostraca together with other documents from Tell Edfu to engage<br/>the local and heritage communities has been examined. One of the objectives of this study is<br/>to try to answer the question, “How can papyrology get out of the narrow circle of specialists<br/>and be introduced to the public? Consequently, the study is divided into two parts: the first<br/>deals with the editions and the analytical study of the texts, and the second examines the<br/>possibility of using “narrative papyrology” to integrate local and heritage communities into<br/>heritage sites.<br/>As a result, this is an interdisciplinary study that uses Mixed Methods Research. The results<br/>of the study demonstrate that the Louvre collection, except for two ostraca, is dated to the<br/>second half of the seventh century, contemporaneous with Papas’ archive and the Ifao<br/>ostraca. This dating gives the collection great importance, thanks to what it can tell us about<br/>the socio-economic, administrative, and religious settings in Egypt during the period directly<br/>following the Arab conquest. | Summary, etc. | بفضل حفائر هنري هن، تم اكتشاف مجموعة من الشقافات (الأوستراكا) القبطية واليونانية في تل إدفو في عشرينيات القرن العشرين، وهي محفوظة الآن في متحف اللوفر. وفي إطار المشروع القائم حاليًا في المعهد الفرنسي للآثار الشرقية (إيفاو) المسمى "إدفو في القرن السابع،” برئاسة الاستاذ الدكتور آلان ديلاتر، والأستاذ الدكتور آن بودور، منذ عام 2015، تم إسناد هذه المجموعة لي للعمل على نشرها. وبناءً عليه، بدأ عملي على هذه المجموعة في عام 2019.<br/>تتكون أوستراكا اللوفر من 100 كسرة فخارية، يمكن تقسيمها إلى مجموعتين رئيسيتين حسب لغتها؛ أولاً، الأوستراكا القبطية التي تمثل الغالبية العظمى (94)، وثانيًا، الأوستراكا اليونانية الأقل عددًا (6). بعد عمل مكثف على الصور الفوتوغرافية مصحوبًا بعدة زيارات للمجموعة الأصلية في مخزن متحف اللوفر على مدار الأربعة اعوام الماضية، تم الانتهاء من قراءة وتحليل المجموعة. والمجموعة تتكون من إيصالات ضرائب عينية وايصالات ضرائب وأوامر دفع وقوائم حسابات وخطابات شخصية إلخ. أظهر تحليل محتواها وسياقها الأثري، بالإضافة إلى الدراسات الخطية والدراسات المتعلقة بالأسماء، وجود علاقة لا شك فيها بين هذه المجموعة وأرشيف باباس والأستراكا اليونانية والقبطية المحفوظة بالإيفاو.<br/>كان باباس هو باجرك (عمدة) إدفو في ستينيات و/أو سبعينيات القرن السابع، بعد الفتح العربي لمصر في عام 641 م. يحتوي أرشيفه على برديات يونانية وقبطية تتعلق بالقضايا الرسمية والعائلية. تم نشر الجزء اليوناني من الأرشيف مبكرًا بواسطة روجر ريموندون في عام 1953 (P.Apoll.). بينما ظل الجزء القبطي مهملاً لسنوات طويلة، ولكن لحسن الحظ هو الآن قيد الدراسة من قبل فريق مشروع إدفو المذكور سابقًا، وسيتم نشره قريباً مع إعادة نشر لبعض الوثائق اليونانية. أما الأوستراكا المحفوظة بالإيفاو فقد تم اكتشافها خلال حفائر البعثة الفرنسية البولندية في محيط تل إدفو. وتم نشرها بواسطة Seÿna Bacot في عام 2009 (O.EdfouIFAO) . سبعة وعشرون أوستراكا من مجموعة اللوفر نشرتها شانتال هورتيل قبل 25 عامًا، لكن دراستها بها بعض الملاحظات، والتي تم تعديلها هنا. ولإكمال صورة إدفو في القرن السابع، كان لا بد من نشر ودراسة مجموعة أوستراكا اللوفر. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم دراسة إمكانية استخدام روايات هذه القطع مع وثائق أخرى من تل إدفو لإشراك المجتمعات المحلية والتراثية. ومن أهداف هذه الدراسة محاولة الإجابة على سؤال “كيف يمكن لعلم البردي الخروج من الدائرة الضيقة للمتخصصين وتقديمه للجمهور؟ وبناء على ذلك، تنقسم الدراسة إلى قسمين: يتناول الأول نشر ودراسة النصوص، ويبحث الثاني إمكانية استخدام "علم البردي السردي" لدمج المجتمعات المحلية والتراثية في المواقع التراثية.<br/>ونتيجة لذلك، فهذه دراسة متعددة التخصصات تستخدم طرق البحث المختلطة. وتظهر نتائج الدراسة أن مجموعة اللوفر، باستثناء سقفتين، يرجع تاريخها إلى النصف الثاني من القرن السابع، معاصرة لأرشيف باباس وشقافة إيفاو. يمنح هذا التأريخ المجموعة أهمية كبيرة، وذلك بفضل ما يمكن أن يخبرنا به عن الأوضاع الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والإدارية والدينية في مصر خلال الفترة التي أعقبت الفتح العربي مباشرة. ومن ناحية أخرى، تم تقديم بعض المقترحات لدمج المجتمعات المحلية والتراثية من خلال علم البرديات السردي<br/> |
