Summary, etc. This thesis presents the development and implementation of a Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) using a Neural Network (NN). The system consists of a photovoltaic system which connected with a buck-boost converter derived by a PI controller and group of NNs and finally connected with fixed load. The control algorithm is developed to use the artificial NN to determine the optimal operating voltage point under any partially shaded conditions. Then, the control action gives the driving signals to the buck-boost converter.<br/>The system has been implemented and tested under diverse operating conditions. The results presented that the photovoltaic system with NN- based MPPT consistently track the global maximum peak with high precision under any partially shaded conditions compared with the traditional control systems. Numerical simulation results show the power and competence capabilities of the proposed algorithm.

Summary, etc. تقدم هذه الرسالة تطويًار وتنفيًذا لمتعقب نقطة الطاقة القصو ى لنظام شمسي باستخدام <br/>الشبكات العصبية وذلك عند تعرض النظام الجزئي، وقد تم اسة النظام الشمسي بهدف<br/>استخراج الجهد الالزم للوصول إلى نقطة القدرة القصوى في حاالت التظليل الجزئي ومن ثم <br/>تم عمل نظام شبكات عصبية يمكن من تقدير الجهد المطلوب بسرعة ودقة كبيرة كما تم <br/>استخدام متحكم تناسبي – تكاملي للتحكم في محول دعم باك لتحقيق الجهد والذي تم الحصول <br/>عليه من الشبكات العصبية. <br/> وتم تنفيذ النظام واختباره في ظل ظروف تشغيل مختلفة. أظهرت النتائج أن النظام <br/>الكهروضوئي مع المتحكم يتتبع دائما الذروة القصوى العالمية بدقة عالية تحت أي ظروف <br/>تشغيل مقارنة بأنظمة التحكم التقليدية. وبدون وجود ذبذبات حول هذه النقطة.
